Sorry if someones posted this. Does anyone remember that article about the BBC offering voluntary redundancy to the high earning stars? Wonder if this is the BBC methodically getting rid of them one way or another.
Either way bet HE is regretting not taking the money!

Watching the remnants of The One Show reminds me of This Morning and the tense atmosphere post-Philth 😝

I wonder if HE split up from his wife a while ago. Before it was deleted I saw no photos of him with his wife. Lots of him posing, looking moody, showing off his body because of working out, his mum, his dog. None of his wife or kids. Could he be out as gay or bisexual to his family and friends etc? And he may have been single for a while?
He was still wearing a wedding ring, although that could just be to keep up appearances

With the lawyer I wonder if they’re doing smaller upfront retainers eg £5k, they’ll run that down and repeat at a level that’s necessary. All he really needed them for was to contact The Sun with a statement at this point. They’re not working hard on a case.

Well after the rollercoaster that has been the last few days, my contender for the biggest revelation:

If you drag the screen down on your phone on tattle, it refreshes. Mind blown.
I had a revelation like that a while ago. Just to let you know lol - it us not just tattle that it works on! Who knew?! On a related note, my contribution would be that whichever way this case goes, I blame the BBC as if they had just done what any normal HR dept would do and suspend the person and investigate as required, none of us would be here right now. This all lies with them.

Just seems so weird that they haven’t released the name despite knowing it will be obvious. Plus without releasing it, the whole situation has been dragged on way more than normal as the whole country sits in suspense.
If this person has applied and been granted a super injunction (which I suspect he has) then they can't legally name him. The claims were made 2 months ago so that is time to get a gagging order in place.

Quote from a piece in the Telegraph:
‌“We’ve had young runners, apprentices and vulnerable guests around this man and now we don’t know who has been exposed to what. The presenter in question is very in with the management… it’s all just awful that they put us and our colleagues at risk to save themselves and their friend.”

I haven't watched the BBC news in a while, do they have actual guests in the studio at the 10pm news?

I’m not sure, there’s a photo of him with his wife on a female friends insta it was Her last post just 1 week ago. I didn’t get the woman’s name and since he’s done something to his insta I can’t find it, but they were tagged at the savoy.

So just to confirm, HE usually presents the 2200 news Mon-Thurs? Did he present last Mon? So by that timetable he should be presenting it tonight?

i thought this too. I’ve heard a number of stories from people who have said that the police/court/media process was more devastating than anything they went through before, and how they wish none of it had ever come out. They wanted the situation to stop, but for the authorities to have never been involved. Their involvement made things worse. Not just SA, but DV, child abuse situations etc.
yeah absolutely this, you've articulated it better than me. this is my take on it personally!
