I've had some talks with my friends and apparently if you take it off the OF platform, you may pay for custom content with a Paypal or something similar that would likely have your name attached to it

But the mother can’t be doing it for money surely as she refused any payment from The Sun for the article she just wanted the man punished for what he had done? That doesn’t scream money grabbing to me.

Has it been confirmed that she got no money?

The original statement was that she didn't want to be paid for this. Looking at it now, it seems like The Sun saying "we're more trustworthy because we have not paid for this story"

I find this very odd. The police are not investigating anything, and the story is now rubbished by the youngster, and that photo of Huw Edwards is actually just a photorealistic imagining of a middle aged man scowling with his arse out?!?

All I will say is this - the BBC and the Met police’s reputation are down the toilet, already. If there is any kind of covering for their corrupt talent, and sweeping under the carpet of any impropriety, they have to be finished as they currently exist. I’ve heard an ex Met police officer say they need to sweep the whole lot out, and start again. I would back this, and likewise for the BBC, and any other public service, including Government. It seems rotten to the core.

As the purported victim is now an adult, i think he would need to report it to the police himself. Police don't actively investigate crimes based on heresy.

I think the sun have something solid. We are in an era where news agencies being sued by both of the Kings sons, it would be naive to think they are still writing things on a whim.

They didn't. They've said that they told the Sun before the story went to press that it was all nonsense.

Frankly, after that I'd have taken legal advice too.

Prisoners have to pay for TV. The government makes millions each year from it and I don’t know where you’ve got the idea of free WIFI from, they’re not allowed internet access.

Now the BBC have got involved and all of a sudden this kid has a lawyer (how?) denying anything happened and the police said they’re not investigating criminal charges merely based on just having a zoom call with the BBC? I know who stinks of most for me and it’s not the mother! It’s going to get covered up like JS!

I mean, the police won't be investigating it because the alleged victim has given a statement saying it's bullshit.

Even if the CPS gave the nod to prosecute, a court case in that situation would be impossible to win.

But parents do get things wrong, they can do things that aren't in their children's best interests, and they can be manipulated. Why are you so invested that they are the innocent party? They've obliterated the trust that their child had in them (if they had it to start with). They went to the Sun, and that I cannot understand. Go to the police if you're that concerned, not the Sun, with the best will in the world why on earth would you think that splashing the most intimate details of your child's life on the front page of the tabloids would help anything?

Did you believe Karen Matthews? A lot of the women discussed on tattle are mothers - would you believe that everything Katie Price did was in her children's best interests? Jack Monroe?

I know The Sun are scummy but surely they wouldn’t push this story against a heavyweight household name if they didn’t have evidence

The story was always about how the BBC had failed to investigate in the mothers view

Very little focus on the presenter being a horrible person and the young person being a victim

That Sun article also says their initial article was "based on interviews and sworn statements from their worried parents".

Making me wonder if they've seen any actual evidence or if it is just one person's word against another at this point.

The Sun must have offered the youngster a large sum for a tell all. The denying it all must be a greater value then taking the money but why.

I feel like this person's mother was after money. Sorry to say it but that's how it reads to me.

Its been reported she declined any money she just wanted this person to stop funding her kids drug habit and to stop taking advantage of her kid
