A legal experts on Sky News said that it's very interesting that the word 'rubbish' has been used in the letter from the child's legal representative. He said that word has been chosen deliberately, meaning that the claims written in the Sun are not all false; he said if they had been false, a stronger word would have been used to categorically denied them.

The words "there is no truth in them" were also used, though. Which is rather stronger.

He must know by now that the bum photograph is circulating - if that was fake I'd expect him to issue a statement refuting it and saying he was getting lawyers in. Like, immediately. The picture's been up for about 24 hours.

I personally don’t think that’s real. The witch hunt for Scoff (rightly so) would have unearthed lots of stuff. All of a sudden it comes out when everyone is speculating. Maybe his lawyers are involved. But doesn’t mean he would need to be public about it. If that was real there would be some sort of order to have it removed by now. As it could be used in court. I asked my gran what she would do if she was in HE position. Just for an age perspective. She said nothing if she wasn’t the person involved. She would be concentrating on keeping the family out of the way and getting things in order to sue everyone and everything any way she could as quite likely his career is over regardless of innocence. It’s tarnished him now

The BBC is interviewing someone (used to be an editor for the Sun if I heard and remember right) and he thinks the presenter will never be named:
A) there are two views of what is happening by the two different sides
B) the bad wolf may not be as bad

not entirely sure what the point he’s making is but interesting to think they may never be named

May suggest that due to how they came into contact that no illegality has taken place OR the illegality is "accidental"ie only fans where folk should all be 18 or over type scenario.

Point A.may be referring to the fact the mother is qoted as saying she saw a picture of the guy in his pants which was from a "video call". Suggests it has been deliberately screen shotted. Add in the mum quoting the overheard phone call "I told you not to f***ing call me again", the multiple payments could be blackmail. The sums involved do seem excessive for viewing video acts etc.

Have to wait for the story to come out fully though.

I for one believe them. I don’t see any reason they would put themselves through all this especially with someone so high profile which could land them in hot water if they’ve lied.

I’m watching Sky and then GBN for the deep delve at 9pm
The Sun say complaint was from both parents
I think the BBC got spooked today and sent the same message to all news media outlets

Yes been off here for a few hours but tuned in at 6pm (no way HE will be back at 10pm as they will still be covering the story in great detail so it will be Fiona Bruce once more) and that was the first I'd heard there's another parent involved.

I assume the young person dosen't live at home anymore otherwise it will be a very dysfunctional set up going forward!

I'm in line with the pay off stuff tbh. Or the young male got completely spooked by all this dominating the airways in last 72 hours and just wants things to go away. I'm trying not to compare given the gravity of accusations but we saw a very high profile accusation dropped suddenly by the CPS at start of 2023 due to the complaint not wanting to take any further accusations.

In any case given what's out there I just can't see HE ever presenting again. Surely BBC management simply can't risk a high profile presenter casually sliding into random DMs on Insta, Twitter and Linkedin for seemingly non-professional reasons so I take that was part of the reason his insta got deleted just before the 6pm news and his new creation will be for a post BBC future.

The whole Johnny Depp trial was not about whether he was a wife abuser but whether The Sun had a reasonable expectation that Johnny Depp was an abuser based on the information they had. They won, this is no different. If the Mother came to them with (potentially fabricated) evidence then they can print the story.

The picture can only come from one of 2 sources. The boy (who’s claiming all this is fake) or the mum.

Why so? Are we to assume this is the first time the bloke has had online interactions? Could it not have come from someone else who has nothing to do with this 17 yr old and the mum?

Theres no smoke without fire. Sun would not have published without zilch evidence. Parents have gone behind child's back. Now the child is probably been paid off by the said BBC presenter to say it's all rubbish.

Also is the bum picture real or ai ? Im still confused. I'm mean if it is AI someone is a sick muthafucker. If not what where did original post come from ? Maybe the parents

If you read their article they say they ran the story based on interviews with and sworn statements from the parents. Doesn't sound like concrete evidence to me.
