I’m sure The Sun must have seen some evidence, otherwise they could say anything about anyone( I know I know). They would have run the story past their legal team. Nah somethings off about this.
I am so so baffledHas this been posted yet? HE has been active on Twitter today because he’s liked these two tweets…

At the moment there’s a fair bit of evidence for Schofield though, and repeated with different people. He also did an awful lot of manipulation and evasion and his colleagues haven’t a good word to say of him. We still don’t really know what is going on here yet, although it does admittedly look dodgy. Are you Welsh? I just wonder why you have gone in hard on Schofield but are willing so quickly to believe HE is not guilty? If you are Welsh is it because he is hero to Wales? I don’t get the distinction between him and Schofield. If he is guilty, different cheeks of the same arse. There is not a hope in hell that the lad has the funds for expensive lawyers, he’s an addict spending his dosh on crack according to his parents, how has he got the funds for legals. I still believe he is has been approaching young men online, fishing like Schofield, until he got a catch.
Its just all a bit sad, seedy, middle aged man behaviour. Even Frank Bough got coke and hookers, this just conjures up images of HE wanking on a sofa with his pants round his ankles.Indeed. He (it seems anyway) didn't bring his young men to work with him or get them jobs on his show or bring them to awards ceremonies. He didn't get people fired for speaking up about his relationships. He didn't rule the BBC with a rod of iron like Philth seemingly did with ITV. He was allegedly warned before about the DM-ing though. Wasn't a good look befitting a serious newscaster. But no, he's no Schofield. And unfortunately I don't think he'll cope well with all this.
in this situation those who want to be bitchy about celebrities will find silence suspicious, equally, if he made a statement, they would see this as a cover up. (Those who denied involvement early on were accused of lying to save their arse.)It’s the silence for me.. surely if HE was innocent and it’s all ‘rubbish’ he would of made a statement through lawyers? All his co-workers are getting branded all kinds of names and accused and he stays quiet?
We only have a statement from the parent that this happened. It seems the child of the said parent is discrediting the parent’s claims, so we have no idea if these calls actually ever took place if we are to believe the child.Phoning the young person twice and asking him to tell his mum to drop it doesn’t look good.
You have no way of knowing if the BBC handled this correctly or not. The BBC have have said they started an investigation back in May. If, as the child is saying, there is nothing untoward going on, then the BBC had nothing to address. If the BBC handled this properly in May when it was first reported then maybe it wouldn’t of been made so public.
Obv they haven’t learned anything after Saville and I wouldn’t put it past them to cover other stuff up.
It’s not really a case of victim blaming the lad because the lad has come out and said he isn’t a victim. The bigger question now is the parents motive.I think the Mum was just trying her best to stop the money & by saying '17' to The Sun it made the story get reported. The young man could still be telling the truth & it not be from a payoff etc
I'm still really disturbed by the 2 members who seem determined to find HE innocent, and keep victim blaming the lad, his parents etc
This is a very likely scenario, but what a mess.I have friends who do webcam work and have regulars who tip them a lot of money. My thoughts are that HE is a sugar daddy for this young person and the young person has been spending the money on drugs. The mum has found out HE is the one providing the money for the drugs and is so stressed out with her child being a drug addict that she's gone to the papers to try and cut off the funds for the drugs, that's why she doesn't want paying. He might not have known their age, he may very well have. The young person is probably denying it because they don't want to lose their payouts.
This is what I would bet on. It suits both parties to just say move along, nothing more to see.My thoughts were similar
Young person gets into online thing with presenter
Young person decides to bribe presenter
£35k and 3 years later Young persons mother steps in and alerts the scum about the money
Young person realises if this all comes out they will be in trouble for bribery and tries to quell the rumours
That’s what I think. I’m going to add that I wouldn’t be surprised if they had been 17 when the images were sent but if the young person doesn’t see themselves as a victim of any crime then that aspect of it ends here.So something did happen but was all above board/legal?
