One things for sure, there was a transaction that happened between the presenter and the young person
Unwise but not illegal61 year old man and an 18 year old. Grim. Also, what about the fact he’s married?
My step son is 17 and although I do see him slowly maturing mentally, he is definitely still very young and naive. I cannot imagine anyone thinking 17 is not very young! ChristGrim. I remember meeting a lot of men with that same attitude when I was very young myself.
Now my daughter's nearly that age, I see quite how disgusting it is.
I agree and I’m not excusing him. I imagine if he ever does release a statement that he will go with the exact same line as PS. At this stage though, I don’t see the evidence that HE has acted as badly as Schofield.Unwise but not illegal strikes again. It's not his responsibility to stop people online going completely gaga, though.
Charming.Grim. I remember meeting a lot of men with that same attitude when I was very young myself.

I’m starting to think this maybe the caseLet’s just say that Huw hasn’t paid anyone off and this whole thing is just a fabrication stirred up by a troubled mother… Can you imagine how awful a situation Huw is in now? Career potentially ruined, dignity lost, relationship with his wife and children ruined. It doesn’t bear thinking about.
I have a suspicion that if The Sun are going to stick by this then they will name him. It's the only obvious escalation, and they don't have a lot to lose at this point, given they're almost certainly getting sued anyway, given the recent revelations. So the presenter claims it’s rubbish. But the sun states they have seen evidence and have done nothing wrong in publishing what they did, it’s now upto the bbc to decide.
I keep thinking…. So the sun have enough evidence to print the story and potentially ruin someone’s life but the police don’t have enough to open an investigation??Presumably the sun has given the evidence it had that this is what happened to the police?
Have to say this is also my impression, judging by the actual facts out in the public domain (which, by the way, are very very few despite everyone and his uncle stating certain things as fact rather than speculation).I’m starting to think this maybe the case
Still hoping he has nothing to do with it all.Still not illegal.
Also we haven't seen a shred of evidence it's even happened, nor (yet) that HE was involved.
Also why the Sun? Over any other paper? It’s not exactly known to be a bastion of justice! All we have to support that is the questionable words of a mother who went to The Sun instead of the police.
The lack of police involvement even after they were made aware is relatively telling for me.
It crossed my mind too.I’m starting to think this maybe the case
