Yeah, why say he´s her boyfriend if they both knew it had an expiration date? I´d just say I´m dating the guySo much for the long term romance!
Loool 100%!Omg he really was just a convenient chauffeur!
Yeah like so quickly posting him in all her videos and calling him her boyfriend even though she knew it was going to end after what? 2 months?Loool 100%!
Is just me that thinks that it’s a bit weird that she was comfort posting that online for the world to see? Like woahhh
Yeah, I think I would hide him from the videos! Fair enough if that is what you want to do but she seems to exaggerate many things. Like 'moving' to Mexico - no she didn't she's on a tourist visa. New 'boyfriend' - no she has just found someone who it is nice to be around for a while and is coming along for the journey. I wish she had said that. Why does everything need to have a significant label to it?Yeah like so quickly posting him in all her videos and calling him her boyfriend even though she knew it was going to end after what? 2 months?
Probably because she’s not doing it from the UK? I don’t think some of these countries have those guidelines like the US influencers I’ve seen don’t do it, but report her to the asaDoes anyone know why she doesn’t put #AD at the start of her videos when she’s doing all these SurfShark promotions?
I’m not familiar will the ASA rules, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen her do it
I’m still under the impression in the UK regardless if it’s a minute or the whole thing it has to be clear to the consumer without clicking on the video that it’s sponsoredI might be wrong, but the whole video isn't an ad - it is just a sponsorship. So surfshark pay for that 1 minute or so, they don't dictate how the rest of the video is. So you don't need to put ad in the title.
OT - but does anyone watch Where's Poppy? Wish we had a thread for her like BB here.
If it is then a lot of people I watch aren't doing it! And I'm UK based watching mainly British YT'ers.I’m still under the impression in the UK regardless if it’s a minute or the whole thing it has to be clear to the consumer without clicking on the video that it’s sponsored
Yup. That is what annoyed me the most (bar - leaving the country during a pandemic). The terminology she used. And the way she travelled around, she wasn't going somewhere for 6 months and staying there to crack on with work. She was actively travelling around. So she’s on her way back to the UK!!!
‘Moved’ to Mexicojust a glorified holiday
Did she ever make it seem like it was long term though?? My understanding was that they were seeing how things went and going with the flow. More serious than a holiday fling, but not end goals. So much for the long term romance!
It was always a holiday fling. I don't think she's ever had a serious boyfriend.Did she ever make it seem like it was long term though?? My understanding was that they were seeing how things went and going with the flow. More serious than a holiday fling, but not end goals.
I think so, she didn’t ever explicitly say it but it came across that wayDid she ever make it seem like it was long term though?? My understanding was that they were seeing how things went and going with the flow. More serious than a holiday fling, but not end goals.
