Her recently vlogs are really uncomfortable to watch as if pandemic doesn't exist in Mexico, so irresponsible

Ughhhh I really like BB but I feel like the whole “moving to Mexico” was just a massive excuse to travel around the country as a backpacker whilst we all suffer in the UK. She didn’t even properly move. She’s been staying in Air BnBs in many towns/cities across the country.
She’s still got a room in her parents home full of her things and will undoubtedly go back there whenever she’s bored of Mexico. I know she’s saving for her first home and is very lucky to have parents who are letting her live at home to save whilst her siblings moved out a long time ago but I am so shocked that she’s done this as it doesn’t seem to be the best financial decision for her as you’d assume she’d be saving every penny so that she can buy her house? She must be rolling in dosh haha!
Sometimes I don’t think she recognises just how privileged she really is...

I also can’t bear to see her travelling like normal, stopping at many restaurants/cafes/hotels virtually every day without wearing a mask. The video where she went on the boat with her new bf made me CRINGE as everyone on the boat was masked up and she was there without a care in the world.
Sorry for the rant! Maybe I’m just jealous that she can do this whilst we are all trapped on this island but I’ve been having these thoughts for a while and needed to get them off my chest...

I was really uncomfortable in her newest video when her boyfriend was driving and using the camera to film her

I can’t understand her wanting to buy her own home. She’s built her whole career on travelling, which she presumably won’t be doing when she buys somewhere...?
Will her brand be as successful / her income be the same if she’s not travelling?

I don’t speak Spanish so couldn’t say for definite but sure I saw a comment saying that the people running the boat trip were shouting to make sure everyone had their masks on. In that case it’s not just ignorance, it’s sheer disrespect. I doubt she’d go travelling the UK like this in the middle of a pandemic, so why is it okay to do it in Mexico? I used to really like her content but this to me is no better than the love islanders swanning off to Dubai. Do better Christanne.

It might be a stupid question, but how is she insured to travel in Mexico atm?

I also noticed she commented saying it’s just a regular driving license to drive a scooter? I thought you needed to do a scooter driving test?

There's a few things I'm finding weird recently. Most have been discussed... First of all galivanting around Mexico as if there isn't a pandemic on. There seems to be drink driving going on with the scooter. The other one is that she's there on a tourist visa, you generally aren't permitted to work on that yet she's published loads of evidence that she is. (she can argue that it's for a company in the UK but that's not how immigration law works). Additionally, how are taxes being managed out there? You can't just live in a country and expect to be free of a tax burden. I feel like none of that's been addressed. In the meantime she's gone from interesting travel blogger to someone no better than the 'influencers' hanging out in Dubai

Yup she’s on a tourist visa yet is working out there. Plus her visa is only 6 months which I’m pretty sure she’s nearing expiry now yet has made no mention of plans to leave.

So she said she’s definitely coming home ‘soon’... and then was asking for suggestions on where people want her next travel series to be... if she comes home she definitely can’t just go off travelling again surely at the moment?! 🤦🏼‍♀️
And what’s she planning on doing with David lol, honestly so many questions

On the one hand, she's a travel vlogger who's moved longish-term to another country, which I think puts her a little above the influencers in Dubai thing, who are using "work" (taking photos of themselves with too much makeup and not enough clothes, while advertising products they could sell to us from their bedrooms) as an excuse for a holiday.

On the other, there's next to no evidence of the pandemic in Mexico in her videos, she's prancing around as if life is completely normal, I can count the number of times we've seen her in a mask on one hand and still have fingers left and she's taking selfies with fans with their faces pressed together. For someone who claimed that living at home with her parents, going on road trips to the Lake District to meet friends and family and going on holiday with her best friend "just wasn't challenging her", I'm sure as hell not seeing a lot of "challenging" going on when she's spending 95% of her time doing handstands on the beach, snorkeling and eating the least-spicy food she can find all day every day.

If she comes home now, she'll go straight into mandatory 10 day hotel quarantine and I'd genuinely like to see her blog of that. She should have enough footage for a few more videos so she can spend her time editing them for release over the next few weeks and since she took all her equipment with her there's no reason why she can't film her What I Spent In Mexico and What I Packed But Didn't Use videos in the hotel. And if she's bored, she can do some handstands to occupy the rest of her time.

Then when she actually gets home, I'd like to see her challenge herself for real. I'd like to see her use her imagination to produce some local travel content when the worst of the restrictions get lifted, I'd like to see her do some lockdown vlogs that aren't just "a day in the life aka what I ate today", maybe I'd like to see a proper video about what it's like learning a new language, since she was taking that quite seriously before she met David. Maybe some cooking videos, recreating her favourite Mexican dishes? She can create all the Mexico-themed digital products for her website. Also, she used to be a freelance video editor - she could go back to doing that. It's work she can safely do from home so it's not like she can't still be earning.

Last year she volunteered for the NHS - maybe she can do something for her community this time around or be a Zoom guest speaker for schools or Scouts or the WI. She was talking about writing a book. Even if she's not doing travel-related stuff, there's plenty she could be doing without backpacking across another country.

And then when the world goes back to normal and everything is properly safe again, we can all enjoy her next series from somewhere sunny without the bad taste in our mouths.

Agreed she has so many video options from home. her travel is no more essential than a love island influencer. She could of made advice videos about travelling or country guides from home. Hell she could have even just travelled around the UK. She did not need to travel to a developing country in the middle of a global pandemic and risk putting extra pressure on their healthcare system. Especially as she never wears a bloody mask.

The fact that she asked on her stories (and swiftly deleted) if she should travel to onwards to South America (a region at its peak with the virus) just highlights her ignorance!!

She doesn’t want to come back home as Christianne is one of those people that needs to be on a constant holiday to feel content with their life. Being at home makes these people face reality. And the reality is that she’s a women entering her 30s living at home with her parents, lacking intimate friendships and long term romantic partners, no professional career and essentially living the same life as a “gap yah” student.

Travelling is a form of escape, the fact that you need to be on a permanent form of escape to be satisfied, says a lot about the state of your life at home.

Loooool so if she has to quarantine “I will just stay here until foreseeable future”, urm how hun your visa runs out in March. Is she just going to illegally stay in Mexico?? She’s so annoying, these countries are not your playground for you to do what you want.

What’s the hotel quarantine got to do with it anyway :/ it’s literally 10 days and is only £800 ... cheap compared to to other countries. And she’d have to quarantine at home if not

I am disgusted by the attitude backpackers and van lifers have towards Latin America, I have heard the term "adult playground" way too many times...there is a Canadian moron thay kept saying there were no rules un Mexico, BB has the same attitude, it seems like, visa about to expire, I'll just overstay, no worries! I will continue on my superspreading journey, who cares if my selfishness has a deathly impact on a remote community with no access to quality healthcare...I used to think she was harmless, now I believe she is a borderline covid denier who got a local bf so she has someone to get her out of trouble if/when the police questions her...although deep down she believes being white and foreign with money is her shield against Mexican laws

I wonder if she’ll move onto another country in central/South America if she can’t stay in Mexico much longer? Also, I am so confused about the situation with her bf. Has he just quit his job to travel with her? He’s been away from it for a while and she said she’s “living” in Oaxaca now

I don´t know, the whole situation is weird, she´s not living anywhere, she´s hopping from place to place, I don´t get a good vibe from the bf, maybe he´s got savings and that´s how he´ll be supporting himself, but it feels so rushed. I feel like she behaves like a teenager, the lack of consideration for other people´s wellbeing in a global pandemic is appalling, also I found it odd she was asking her followers on ig yesterday whether they think the earth is flat or a globe... I thought she was joking, it was bizarre.

Lol her stories “GUYS shall I focus on a video about how to find budget Mexican food or healthy Mexican food???!!!!”

Neither babes because no one cares. Not sure if you’ve been informed but none of us are backpacking right now during a PANDEMIC.

This has felt weird from the start. I really disliked how she phrased 'moving' to Mexico, when technically she wasn't. As many have highlighted here, she is moving around quite a lot, yes slower than her normal. But no more so than other backpackers who work remotely. Staying somewhere for a month is not the same as moving. Technically, she is still backpacking and travelling. Also, she seems surprised when places are empty, like yes because there is a pandemic? I do like her, but I wish she would have stayed at home. So much more respect for people like Psycotraveller who have adapted their channels.

It´s almost like she´s living in an alternate reality, where she´s the sane one because she has the privilige to keep living her life as if there wasn´t a global pandemic, and everybody else who is staying home and wearing a mask is overreacting...she is starting to give off denier vibes, she seems pretty self centered, I interpreted it as being independent, but I think she cannot put other people first, so she "moved" to a country where her money allows her to skirt all the rules, a country where healthcare is subpar for the average citizen. I´m curious to see what she´ll do when her visa runs out.
