Ok so I was driving home from work today and stopped at traffic lights and there were brown and orange leaves falling across the road in the wind and it was actually magical, if it wasn’t a crime, I’d have taken my phone out and taken a video, it was so nice 🥹

Can I put my autumn decor out tomorrow? Is that weird!!?? I love summer but what is the harm of getting ready to be all nice and cosy 🥰🍁🍂

My plan is to do it while my husband is at work then he’ll get home and be like, oh pumpkins. He said OCTOBER to me when I first said I wanted to get the autumn decor out….. 🫠

However the wreath for the door can wait til September 1st because I’m scared of judgement from the neighbours 😂
Do it! I will my wreath

Last year I put my Halloween decs out start of October, I was the first one on the estate and that same evening a couple more houses did. Same with the Christmas decs 🤣 I’m sure a lot of us are all waiting patiently to put them out and then when we see someone finally does we all follow

Well, it's been a gloriously gloomy and cooler evening where I live today, definitely a good hint of autumn in the air!

It's cloudy but we're still getting temps of 19/20c at night with next to no breeze, which is looney for the UK.

I’ve got Ransom Canyon on in the background while I work this morning, never seen it before but wanted something cosy on while I work ☺

It’s been so nice and gloomy here this morning (which sounds weird but it’s nice 😂)

The autumn decor is coming out today 🍁🍂🎃

How do you guys stay cold free throughout the autumn and winter months? I recently read about putting garlic cloves in a jar and covering in honey, then waiting a few weeks and then they are edible straight from the jar. They are good for fending off colds during the colder months. There is also echinachea, too. Any tips?

Interesting. I've never tried it, but wll give it a go. Did you take it at the first sign of a cold? Sometimes I can't avoid picking up something, especially when I go to the gym. I use hand sanitiser as much as possible, which I also find helps.

I occasionally have those little turmeric shots .
Although, I feel like I either get a cold or I don't and nothing I do changes the odds .

I tend to just start in October to be honest, I have a child in nursery so October is the start of plague season haha
Then if I do pick up something, I might do 2 shots a day until it passes - I think you can take up to 4 a day?!

Keeping warm is important. I have a lovely, impossibly soft blanket I snuggle up in on damp days and it only cos £10.

I woke during the night, I think it was Wednesday and heard the sound of rain. I smiled to myself and contentedly pulled the duvet up over my shoulders and drifted back to sleep happy. ☺

When I got in my car to go to work the other day, I actually had to put the wipers on to clear the condensation off the windscreen. Yay 😀. Come on Autumn 🍂
