The only downside to the bit of rain we have had is, because it's immediately become hot and sunny again,my grass has grown. I have only mowed it once since the start of June and usually it's at least once a fortnight.

It's strangely warm at night here still, lows of 17c at best but the daytime is so much better at least.It’s still too hot but it’s been raining all day here and I love it! This must be how the grass felt after the drought
Went into TK Maxx yesterday evening. They have even more Halloween stuff out. It looks pretty decent as well.
Cosy pjs, new Autumn book and bookmark 
I’ve got five days off work now, originally only had Friday-Sunday but genuinely wanted a couple more autumnal days off (I normally save for Summer, Christmas and Easter etc).
We’ve just had a nice easy dinner of Indian and Chinese food (shop-bought) to start off the holiday and tomorrow we’re going away for a couple of nights to this lovely, cosy Shepherd’s hut we went to last year. I really hope the weather is nice, as much as I love cosy rain, there’s a big enclosed field for the dogs to play in so hopefully we get some dry spells too

Winter duvet is going on tomorrow. Was absolutely freezing last night. Had to get up to put my winter pjs on.
Got myself a heated throw coming for my birthday present to myself. I hope it's good, I get so cold in the darker months and I want something a bit "extra" than my cheap blanket from Amazon. 
I still have my fan on all day and night,but on low

I’m loving all the TK Maxx Halloween bits this year. Really like all the mugs but they are all large. I wish shops would do at least one in a smaller size!

I was so cold last night I pulled out my fleecey hoodie blanket thing and wore that over my PJs

My friend just called and was telling me she'd put her cosy bedding on. You are all so nesh. I haven't even put my summer quilt back on yet and am still sleeping with the light blanket from summer. It is now covering the whole of me now though.
Same lol. No way could I have a big quilt on yet,I have seen so many people saying they're cold and put the heating on already. I think people have become acclimatised to the red hot weather we've had.
