I agree, they shouldn't have to eat based on what she does or doesn't like. I had a reel come up in my Fb feed, it's an autistic boy, maybe adult age, that also eats the same things over and over. But they get him to try at least one bite of other foods. If he doesn't like it, he politely says "no thank you". Jessica is spoiled rotten.

Gramma of 4 i think I saw the reel. He wears a baseball hat and trys a bite of everything, and ALWAYS says "no thank you". Hes got lovely manners. The Brooks Family do not know what manners are.

Yesss, Hannah needs to leave home and move to a different town. If Val is going to continue living with Campbell going forward, the two of them are fully capable of taking care of Jessica with a new care giver, not Marlow. Marlow deserves her own life, not living on the fringes of the brooks family. Many, many families raise and care for their own children with disabilities, they don’t get help, and the autistic individual thrives. Val is just lazy.

Gramma of 4.. I watch him too! He is the cutest young man who is so polite and kind! Now those are parents who raised their child right. Not like the mess the Brooks family made with Jessica! You are right she is spoiled rotten.

They need to put a stop to some of the stupid stuff she says and does. Not sure why they don't put there foot down because they are the parents! The damn slapping, squealing, Bessie crap, good one and the bad doggie shit. Also the interruptions constantly to see what the coloring book pages are.
Set some boundaries and I don't care that Val says she is an adult so they can't discipline her. BS!!! Their lives would be so much easier...

Well tonight's video they made chili. One observation...Hannah says she has such a sensitive stomach and has a bowl with cheese, sour cream and adding cheetos! Plus it has double the chili powder, a red pepper, onions, corn and garlic in it! Hmmm apparently the stomach issues come and go with her???

That’s A Dose of Zach a Day. I think that’s the name of it. Great people. Great content.

Honest question. Are they making their content worse on purpose?

Jess looked like the grandma in the chili video.

Yes, her ailments do come and go according to what she wants to eat and what he doesn’t want to do!!!!

I can’t figure what reason they would have to make it worse on purpose, but could they not know how horrible and useless the videos are?

I don’t get the every morning post about what to eat for breakfast and then lunch and then dinner. It’s not new content, it’s boring. They should be filming her doing things outside of the home. Just because Val doesn’t want to leave her bedroom, doesn’t mean they should film every single time they eat or flip cards. How do they expect her to grow and learn when there isn’t any NEW experiences. Cooking and eating and cards, that’s Jessica s life. I actually feel sorry for her once in a while because Val is too lazy to really try something new. Disney is not new either, same rides and foods.

I like to think of it as constructive criticism because we know Val reads this and takes notes. Take hints and ideas, Val. No one on here would ever actually act on turning her in, you need more info on them than I know.

Send her back to daycare adult services. Let her have peer interactions, life skills, coping skills and just something to look forward to everyday. Even if they start out a few days a week but this is no life for her. Not having her participate in services to enhance her life is abuse on every level. If her and Hannah want to live their lives in such a pathetic manner that’s on them but Jessica needs an advocate. I am surprised that their state Medicaid waiver program doesn’t make sure that every individual with disabilities has a non bias person advocating for them. This is where the system has failed Jessica . You can’t let a family member be the only advocate you need that other person to oversee and make sure everything is on the up and up. There needs to be accountability!! Yes Marlowe seems sweet but she really offers nothing to Jessica life. Of course she takes her on errands but Jessica needs more activities besides eating out and going to the grocery store. That’s just running lazy Val’s errands. Jess needs activity within her community and OT & PT . They aren’t teaching her independence . What she takes to stirs of the brownie batters says she’s exhausted and leaves. Most the time she’s visiting with Hannah knocking back a drinks. You can clearly see something has changed significantly on there videos . Not sure if it’s out of choice or just maybe someone has caught onto the wrong doings. But at this point the poor quality of content they definitely won’t be making profit. Maybe that’s why Hannah’s hanging with porno Madison because she’ll need another so called job. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her join the industry because she’s odd . All I can say I wish the best for Jessica because she’s clearly the victim of poor parenting or a mom with Munchausen Syndrome .

Very well said rbooth61. I've said for a long time now that Val has the syndrome. Constantly talking about Jessica varous illnesses and causing her to have anxiety, then looking like the wonderful mother who calms down her sickly daughter, while followers tell her how wonderful she is. I actually studied the syndrome 6 years ago as part of a course I was doing at the time, val needs to receive urgent help, her family now need 2 step up and get her help. This isn't going to end well. Shes isolated Jessica from everyone outside the family, everyone who should be in jessicas life to help her live and be as independent as possible, from OT and PT etc. One example is the way Jessica walks hunched over, the PT would work with her on that daily. This isnt going to end well for Val, shes going to end up with no income ,and people stepping in 2 help Jessica.

I can’t imagine the Crispy’s are to happy with them ending the subscriber page. That has to be a huge financial loss as well. Like I mentioned before I saw a comment on YouTube where they refunded their money in August because they didn’t keep the page going because they said their lives were too busy. Maybe it’s just because Campbell back in her life and she just wants a simpler life. Probably getting tired of having to lie so often.

If we can all see this why can't their loyal followers? I know I can be harsh at times but Rebooth61 and Misty you are so right! I am just hoping someone gets Jessica help soon and maybe she can have a semi productive life! She is to young to act older than I do and I am 69!

My heart breaks for Jessica because she deserves better. I know Jessica has ways that we all find not the best but I also have to remind myself she’s the victim of failed parenting. All of us here just want the best for her and we are all so angry at the fact her mother just robbed her of what she could of been.

And because of Val,Jessica is going to find it very very difficult to adjust and get used to being with peers, getting used to sharing,to being taught to eat slowly to prevent choking issues,to being taught that other peoples feelings matter etc.Val could and should have taught and allowed Jessica to meet with peers and professionals regularly, and because shes now 35 and extremely set in her ways, its going to take very patient staff etc a very long time to undo all this terrible teaching from Val. I certainly do not envy the professionals who will have to work with Jessica,it will be a very difficult and demanding job,and that's Vals fault.

Jess has changed so much even in the last yr, she looks old, hunched over and haggard all the time. She never laughs anymore, she’s riddled with anxiety because they tell her she is. Her life has no structure. Followers don’t see it because most of them are challenged, have disabilities themselves, and see Jess as a princess in a guided cage, having every whim and wish fulfilled, They live the spoiled entitled life they wish for through Jessica. Most of them don’t see the big picture for what it really is. The followers that don’t have disabilities are just plain gullible, we all know people like that,, then frankly there are those that are just plain dumb and believe everything they see and hear. There are so many examples of these people in the comments, eg.. Jessica’s hair is so beautiful…her art should be in a gallery…love when she says zoey just don’t need it…she has a beautiful singing voice…she should be a chef…she makes videos like a real producer….she loves her dogs…she is so kind and caring…she’ll be a great nurse some day. ..people that make these kind of responses to their videos are not normal, the ones that are and make sensible comments or are in any way critical are quickly deleted or jumped on by the comment police.

I think my biggest objections are the ones where family and aides give her the false hope! Yes Jess study and you can be an RN! Yes Jess when the automatic driverless cars come out you can be driving and taking yourself places! Yes Jess you can live in your own apartment and be independent even though you can't even stir things in a bowl! And her thoughts of living with Keeley are way off! Old videos where she will stay home and have dinner ready when Keeley comes home from work, calling her my girl or my girlfriend .
They need to let her know the things she CAN do independently but stop the false hope because we all know Jess has a one track mind when she grabs on to something.
