Wallfly I bet Val hates that your back! LOL
*warning* long post.
Well...we all know they read here...especially Hannah and her trusty side kick Marlo...Hannah likes to think she's clever...with her various accounts... Interestingly enough I ran across this post from the one and only Allyson Ecurb...( Bruce).
I'll post it below and notice she says I....referring to herself ...not they...She answers someone in chat forgetting she's on the " fake" account and answers as one of Brooks... I'm guessing Val...because 1, it wasn't corrected and 2, Hannah doesn't buy stuff for Jess....Val does.

Just thought I'd share that tidbit...

I'm not an expert by any means when it comes to autism and all the caveats that fall under that umbrella, but I am over 25 years experienced with living and learning about it.

20+ years ago autism was the go to diagnosis for children ....alongside ADD.... Often coinciding ...but autism has an enormous spectrum ranging from high functioning ( almost unnoticeable) to severe..debilitating ( requiring life long assistance unable to be left alone)

As our children grow...their autism evolves, expands and requires constant professional help to understand and HELP them to cope. This is ongoing...there is still so much unknown with this condition especially in various stages of life.... It's not often we hear about the elderly with autism... Because when they were younger 50,60,70 years ago... They were diagnosed as mentally R******d....not autistic.

Much has changed....And much is still unknown which is why we keep updated and see various doctors and specialists ..attend discussions and participate within our autism community to stay informed...

All that being said... It's come to light certain people online even in our own community that abuse the term autistic ...for various reasons, attention, sympathy, government money and benefits, special treatment , online "celebrity" for money, views...

Val sticks out like a sore thumb as one of those...And people who truly live in/ with or are autistic see right through her.

She is an abuser of a system she has no business being apart of.

Jessica was born with part of her brain missing the back right area..which is the cause for her visual impairment ...on paper shes" legally blind" but in reality she does have some vision.
This is not autism.

Mental Retardation is now referred to as Intellectual Disability. If you actually Google that term and see the " signs" everyone of them are Jessica...200%.
This is not autism.

Schizophrenia normally presents itself in Women mid to late 20s.
Which again fits Jessica...As even her teachers pointed out to Val.
This is not autism.

As a mother of a nonverbal autistic adult child I see Val and her lies.... Which hopefully I can help others see... So many who write here in this forum are very wise and also see the BS. I l like to think we All are making an effort to educate and honestly have someone ...see/ hear us and investigate the Brooks.
Val Brooks belongs in jail for abuse, neglect and scamming...not to mention tax fraud.

Karma ....Hopefully it finds her.

That could be anyone’s X-rays that they got off the internet. Of course before a shunt is placed and the fluid hasn’t been drained things will look compressed or not visible. Unless I see the actual report with her name I find it all questionable. Yes I believe she’s has hydrocephalus with shunt placement but missing part of her brain I don’t believe. Yes she’s visually impaired, DD, with cognitive impairment but her illness that holds her back the most is she’s severely mentally impaired. Her aggressive behavior are mainly brought on when Jessica can’t get her way. Even if there’s autism it’s not the reason she isn’t successful it’s bad parenting and Jessica acting like a spoiled brat.
---

What does co stand for ? Val and her company or companion ? When don’t they get mentioned by name.
Yes Val and company! Good grief🙄🙄

I think we all agree with you. Autism doesn’t mean you can’t learn anything. Far from it. Jessica is stuck and will always be stuck due to her very damaged brain, not autism. If the family reads here, they just dismiss us as evil, mean people. Not true. There used to be a couple of people here who said horrible things and used vile words to describe Val, but they are quiet or have disappeared.

The thing with Jessica is She did seem to have the ability to learn...especially when she has professionals in her life...but because Val didn't like the idea of schizophrenia becoming part of Jessica's diagnosis in her twenties...She pulled Jessica from school, therapy etc... And without proper meds... And no professional interventions..Jessica regresses...And becomes more violent, more argumentative, falls back on bad behaviours that go uncorrected by Val.

At the end of the day....Jessica 's regression will increase drastically and as we see Val can't cope, and Nonnie is too old now to take Jessica from Val again....
Val is responsible in my opinion for the life or lack thereof Jessica has....
Jessica has many deficates...but she's very manipulative..She knows exactly how to make Val do what She wants...
The Brooks Asylum is just that... And the Warden Val... Should be locked up.

That would be me! I'm just being quite. Good things happen to those who wait!! Since we know they read here, we don't want to ruin any unexpected surprise's that await them👊😁

This is just a comparison of Jess this month and Jess 8 years ago! If you happen to remember or are going to watch this Jess was absolutely having fun with no mommy around. Not sure who the guy was filming it but Jess was laughing, counting (got to 18 then but now only makes it to 5), carrying on a conversation and seems to be having fun. She did mention she was going to graduate soon. Plus look how skinny and put together she looked. Her swinging her hair around must be something she has done for years. That's probably why they don't cut it. Yup she had the static going on so must have been dry in there. She did not look unhappy in school so we know Val fills her empty little head with lies! And amazing how she can use both hands to bounce the basketball but can't stir or use a spatula! But she still is flipping cards and when they go to get dog food she can pick up those 25# bags like they are nothing! More fabrication on Vals part!
The current pictures of her are from the day she said she had a bad dream but she heard her mother on the phone. But nope Val convinced her it was just a dream. Then the next day she HAD heard Val on the phone talking about a dead person....and the lies continue! Could you just imagine her at a funeral home or in church squealing and yelling Zoey just don't need it. Plus asking about death and talking about dead Abbie! Lol
Sorry kids I am bored today!

I also watched that video and thought wow look how happy she seemed back then with her peers. Even with her visual impairment she does pretty good dribbling that ball. Makes me wonder why they never put up an outside hoop at her house. I know Val and Hannah are to lazy to shoot hoops but I would think Campbell would enjoy the game. Til this day she still mentions the coach . He apparently impacted her life just wish we knew what role he/she played in her life ? These are the things that piss me off is why can’t they take her to join swimming at the YMCA and while there play some basketball. Marlowe’s job should be just that but instead it’s sitting at the counter watching Hannah cook or visiting in general. Why doesn’t the state advocate better for Jess ? Marlowe should also have to answer to someone on her time sheet of what she did with Jessica . I remember seeing the last caregiver who took her to the SPCA to help feed the animals and just interact. It seems like once she quit then the big mistake was hiring a family friend because they are less likely to follow the agency expectations. But I think the reason why they changed that is Val spoke about how she was going to stop pressuring Jessica to participate was to keep caregivers. She couldn’t keep anyone because Jessica would become so aggressive which I am sure she assaulted them. And I am sure they got fed up with Val not be supportive but only making excuses for Jessica’s behaviors. Not only has Val failed her but so many have within the system.

Jessica’s caregivers probably quit because of Val more than Jessica. Val has to micromanage everything. If it’s not done her way holy hell rains down. Also, Jessica’s violent nature. Val has these ideas that if I just can do this, or that, my life will be better. No Val, as long as you still start and stop and start and stop, nothing will be better. Grow up, you will never get back your teen years. You are officially old. Learn to accept it. It doesn’t mean your life is ending, it’s taking another path. Try yoga, of course, you will quit, but give it a try. Take an actual class with an instructor. Give other people a chance in your life. You people are too isolated by choice. If you just keep the same family members in your circle, you won’t grow. Challenge yourself to get out and see what you really are interested in. There is more to life than Disney and camping in city parks. Give your daughter a chance at a fulfilled life. You have damaged her by isolating her from learning and growing. Val’s way of doing things is obviously been a disaster, maybe let someone else’s way be a chance at some enjoyment for Jessica. Val, you limit Jessica to cards, cds and food. If she got to go out and do three things a week, like the swimming at the ymca, volunteering somewhere, anything! Keep her busy with a few things and she won’t obsess about the three little things she gets to do. Her world is too small. Going camping and sitting in a chair for the whole weekend is not living. While camping, get up and do something. How about a tandem bike ride, going somewhere she can swim. Something! Not just sitting. I realize you and Hannah just want to sit but you all need some different interests and exercise. You lay around too much.

I still think them cutting Augustina out of her life had a huge effect on her and of course we will never know the reasoning why they abruptly stopped talking to her .

That was so strange. She had paid for her tickets to come back to visit them. I think someone on here had been talking to Augustina. She had even asked grandad why val was ignoring her.

But I have noticed Jessica's behaviour is much worse since they stopped contact with Augustina.i wonder what val said to Jessica about it.

grammacloud those are great ideas but not one of them who care for her have any ambition in life. Marlow, HH and Val all have college degrees they don't use so why did they bother to get them? If you google and read Vals LinkedIn profile on line you would think she was the best nurse and person that was ever born! Plus other descriptions of herself on there. Why???? When she quit she never intended to go back to work! Just like she is having HH do. And Marlow will never get out of their lives because she has absolutely no drive or desire to do any work either! Like rbooth61 said Marlow just sits around visiting. Even though it's not her job to run the Brooks families errands at least she got Jess out of the house a few times a week! Now you don't even hear Jess ask to do errands anymore!
They are all lazy and pathetic. And it seems like even though we complain to the powers that be nothing is getting done for Jessica.
---
I was wondering the same.
Jess was on the phone with him last week one day and apparently Dana was not feeling well. It was just a quick mention and then the subject was changed by Val! Hopefully he wised up!

Jessica doesn't have ANY professional or registered caregivers, therapists etc... In her life just friends and family that Val can control.
Marlows job is a glorified babysitter...nothing more. Val has her come on the days she wanted to sleep in..so Marlo can shower Jessica and keep her occupied, or Wednesdays to babysit while Val has her " caregiver getaway" lunch and shopping that Nonnie pays for.

My daughter has 2 caregivers myself and my husband. We hire a respite worker for 8 hrs a week.( 2., 4 hour shifts) usually for doctor appointments I might have, errands, outtings with another of my children, appointments...etc...
We also have our daughter enrolled in classes outside the home she has one almost daily ...swim class, speech class, a peer group . Our daughter also has a volunteer job twice a week for 4 hours....
So she has ample professionals , outings, therapist, teachers, respite.....And activities to keep her engaged, busy, meeting up with friends, and most importantly growing. To us..it's important she understands there's a world outside the house...fun, friends, activities...

The fact that Val calls Hannah and Marlo caregivers is sad... That's Vals job. I have all adult children... Once in a while my other daughter will take her sister for lunch or ice cream.... That's what SISTERS do...never would I call her a caregiver, or expect her to shower her sister.

Vals all about Val and what ever makes her life easier...And an unfit parent/ caregiver.

I have always wondered what could have Augustina done that caused them to cut her so abruptly? I speculate just maybe her and Hannah called it quits or maybe Campbell or Madison got to friendly with her ? I think at one time weren’t they going to have her come live with them under a student visa ? How could them be so intimidated by someone so far away unless they just had no use for her anymore? It was just bizarre! I wish whoever reached out to her before could give us an update.

If I remember correctly someone from this group did get ahold of her and she didn't want to hear anything they told her. She was very young and naive. The Brooks talk a good game but when it comes down to it never follow through on anything! They probably figured telling her she could live with them meant she would know their secrets and deception of the followers. So they dumped her. Seems like we don't hear about that other Hannah anymore either! Curious.....

Didn’t she end up having to go stay with Allyson while she was visiting them because Jessica became obsessed with her? Augustina was sleeping in and Jessica didn’t like that, and other things i think that riled her up.

Unfortunately Jess gets obsessed with anyone who pays attention to anyone else in the family. She needs them all to herself and she has to have control over that. Obsessing and all the touching she does would creep the hell out of me! And I do remember they had to farm Augustina out. But Augustina did pay special attention to Grandad. Now that was bizarre because he seemed to like it! Lol maybe Nonnie told them never to have her back!!!
