So a little while back smilf had a cry about her gym’s receptionist not watching her kid while they worked, so she could use the gym, and it was all ‘society doesn’t care about single mums’. And people pointed out that her situation isn’t that bad, and she did the whole ‘it’s not a competition!’ ‘Can we stop making it a competition about who has it worst!’
Now she’s making the Melbourne/elsewhere lockdowns a competition and of course she had it the worst.
apparently she didn’t get enough sympathy from everyone else in other states who still went to brunch and lived their lives.
I understand feeling bitter, but she actually is overjoyed in what is happening.
I just don’t understand how she can’t smell her own hypocrisy??
Every insta story saying ‘I hope this passes quickly for you’ is followed by one showing how salty she is that people are now offering sympathy to others and not HER, the only struggling person to ever live!

why not join a gym with a crèche? or is that too simple a solution for her

How can she not see the hypocrisy. She constantly reposts what’s been written about others on gomi. Is obsessed with other bloggers like Amy and Jess Wilson and regularly comments on their lives. As soon but as she is mentioned here she is all over it and crying foul. Slammed Pilates for not letting her bring her kid and being anti lock down but still goes there. Used her pretty privilege to get out of a speeding ticket, then complained that the police let her get out of a ticket because she is prettty??? Gives budget tips but recommends NARS and Hourglass make up. It’s just weird.

I'll never understand why wannabe influencers put their life on display the way they do. Your privacy is precious. Everyone has opinions and none of us are perfect. I would hate my decisions, parenting and values being picked apart by others. I have a teeny tiny digital footprint and love it that way. Whhhhhy put your life on line the way they do, I don't compute.

On another note. She posted an insta story about protecting kids in today's world with all the access they have to social media etc. Meanwhile their own mother shares exactly where they live, what school they go to and when the kids are being a pest.

100% this. It’s baffles me. I like my privacy especially now having a small child. I get appeal of the lifestyle and money that comes with ‘influencing’ but it’s just is a bit ick. Once you put something on the internet, it’s there forever.

I get sometimes sharing information about your life and problems etc can be an emotional release for some but also if you are putting stuff out there, then people are open to their opinions also. I don’t agree with trolling someone and abuse. But if people don’t want Critism online, then simply don’t share….

I feel like if you were truly concerned about people ‘finding out’ your name (that you have used in your podcasts, past insta posts etc) then you wouldn’t constantly be directing people to this forum you say is invading your privacy.

Sophie Cachia - a podcast was uploaded today where she discusses her "coming out" and how hard her journey has been - not denying the challenges at all. I would have no idea but cue the iphone angled on the kitchen bench to film Sophie crying into MG's arms? There was no cooking going on so it's not like Sophie suddenly felt distressed. FIlmed about 7:00pm and Flo was in the kitchen semi naked & wanting to bake. It's cold in Melbourne tonight - they must have good heating! My 3yo is in warm pajamas, has had dinner, winding down for the evening, ready for bed and stories by 7:00pm. There would be no baking of sweet cakes for consumption! Yes it's school holidays but young kids need to follow the same bedtime as preschool/school terms
