I’m done. People are stupid. I have tried so hard on so many occasions to objectively look at Leila. TRY to see what others see and I just can’t. I also can’t believe the blindness of those handing over their money to her. There is a) no evidence to prove this is vaccine related. None. Did they ever stop and consider that maybe a 60+ year old woman, who is no doubt still somewhat recovering from cancer, shouldn’t physically be moving herself into a new place, on her own?! Her two daughters couldn’t be there, one because she CHOSE to move over the border in the current climate, and the other was working. Plan your shifts. And b) There is actually no evidence bar some tears from Leila that her mum is even in hospital. She’s scammed before. She’ll scam again. She’s a liar.

Is there some law that stops family from removing a patient from a hospital facility, if the patient is not coherent enough to make their own decisions? Leila is “raising” this money to cover her costs to care for her mother at home with a drip and her own protocols that she’s made up. She is dead set going to be the cause of her mother’s death.

I know of a guy who had cancer but his brother is such a wack job nutter covid denier that he took his brother home for "natural remedies" but it just caused his brother to die a bloody horrible death when he could have been more comfortable in hospital. Not saying that's what is happening to L's mum, but damn.... if someone needs proper medical care, they shouldn't be looked after by a couple of nutbags who aren't medically trained.

Came here to say this as well, I reckon for sure the anonymous 5k is from Leila herself, she started it at a 5k goal which has now doubled to 10k.
I feel sorry for her mother, to be taken from hospital by this loon to be treated at home, it’s wrong.

She’s all over tiktok talking about the issue. I’ve been down a rabbit hole. Anyone wanting more context / links to this drama the founder of Snag Tights deleted all her personal content due to so much harassment and has updated her account with receipts of the dramaz. @briefromsnag

Where is the evidence her mum is in hospital? She had no problem sharing her at her worst last year when she was going through cancer treatment??Even if Leila cant get over the border to see her, her sister would be sending videos of her alleged behaviour. Honestly I don't believe this is true for a second. It is far too convenient that someone who has been anti-vax in the past, and who has been shouting about the covid vax for months now, to suddenly have her own vaccine injury just land in her lap. I don't believe it.

I hope her mum is not unwell and if she is that she makes a full recovery but I don't believe the vaccine story at all.

Does anyone know if her mum is a Stead? There isn’t a nurse registered in that name, if she is a Stead I call bull on her being made to have the vaccine for employment (the first hurdle would be re-registering).
It’s most likely she’s relapsed, it’s a hard disease to cure and cognitive impairment would be a red flag for relapse. Leila has spun her mums condition to fit her own narrative. She’s absolutely vile.

Also imagine how hard the hospital team are working to do what’s right for her treatment wise with their years of experience and qualifications combined, and then having to put up with this idiot. It would be absolutely infuriating. I am working towards a Hospital Social Work career but people like this really put me off, imagine having a really difficult job made harder by people like this. She desperately needs help for her own mental health issues.

I think normal power of attorney isn't the same as medical proxy or medical power of attorney (thankfully!) but I don't live in QLD or NSW, so I don't know! If her mother wasn't able to make her own medical decisions previously then Leeeelah could very well have this I suppose.?

But.... like someone above said, if she was that bad that she needed a medical proxy. and was going back to work, it wouldn't be that simple would it? She would have to re-register as a nurse.
