I read somewhere re their dropping out ( The Block) was that they wobbled because they realised they’d be in hi viz, no filter and the possibility of a bad edit would hurt her brand. Yes the Mum was sick or injured but it was suggested in the piece I read they used that as a way to get out of the show.
The whole situation is strange. I used to follow her but after seeing the running over and over and the never ending freebies/shopping I had to stop.

She is just so dull. A part of me wants her to lose all of her money because it seems it’s no good for her and her mental health. I’m
Sure she worked hard at one point but it’s hard to imagine since she’s rather lazy.
Lol Lauren Curtis made it sounds like she wasn’t even happy to go on holiday. Like wtf I haven’t been on a holiday in so long and I’ve never been to Bali. Of course she found birds in Bali. Of course zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I only filed 2 complaints over the weekend - off my game 😂
You know Ad Standards have zero power? They are the definition of a toothless tiger. And as useless as a local council. But keep them busy on influencers and they will be less likely to follow up advertisers because 1 person wrote a letter complaining about a girl in a bikini !!!🤣.

Well what do you suggest people do when they see all this dodgy stuff happening? Nothing?

No. I like people doing it and the DM writing about it. But they have absolutely zero power to enforce anything. The ATO would be better off to chase them. This would be far more rewarding.

Buttttt it takes three minutes and it annoys them #worthit. It also means people will at least start to be better about declaring ads up front. It’s on the ACCC priorities for this year, so maybe if the same people keep getting breached they’ll eventually refer them on and that’s where they can be fined!

I wish the ATO would investigate more, but we don’t really have anything to go on to file complaints there 😅

Can we discuss Abbie Chatfield on here or or did someone end up making her a spin-off thread? Her label launches soon and whilst I know the clothes look fugly on some of the models, the ‘fit Abbie herself is sporting on stories tonight has me 🥵 are her boobs real?!

Did anyone watch Elle Ferguson on the block? I was really pleased to see her look at least ten years older on the screen than she does on Instagram. Camera doesn’t lie..maybe that’s why they quit 🤣

They are a self-regulating body so yes, pretty tame for now. Toothless tiger - then why do the advertisers even respond to Ad Standards?
If I was an influencer, I wouldn't like my name/handle appearing on Ad Standards Community Panels Case Reports whether the complaint was dismissed or upheld.
Maybe I do report to the ATO too... ? When we report cases to Ad Standards, we get a response from the advertiser. And sometimes that will be useful for the ATO .

Surely they had realised this before they applied, before they were accepted and before they actually went to the site. I’d never heard of either of them, but this just made them look like tools.

Does anyone know the scoop on Anna Paul. I can’t help but love her, she genuinely seems so sweet. But does she support the brother, boyfriend and parents? The whole Atis and his crypto millions seems like bull to me but I’m the first to admit I don't get crypto and how it works at all. Their whole setup boggles my brain.

Lauren is so boring. I don't know why she went to Bali. She never likes leaving her house, except to go to Kmart and to check on her house.

I am curious. Is she financially set for life? She seems to get by doing nothing.

Unlike some other families (*cough* Kearns *cough*) I also doubt they want a house full of crap just because it was free. I know they’re pretentious AF and despite Reid being totally overexposed, I think they’re great dads.
I must be the only person who thinks they’re terrible parents. They’re no different to any other bleeping entitled, exploitive adult chasing a buck at the expense of the digital footprint of their children.

At least these models look half decent, Kat and April DO NOT SUIT cropped clothing.
I said what I said.

I love Anna Paul!

She definitely supports her Mum and Dad. Not sure about Atis but not Glenn. He also does OF with her. Which has a HUGE following.

I agree she is very sweet and just really genuine. For someone her age and in this 'career' is very rare to come across. She has a collab with STAX also coming out which will no doubt kill it.

She rarely does any sponsored crap because she simply does not need to.

I also agree with above poster.

Each time a complaint it made to Ad Standards about a certain brand or influencer it goes to a portfolio for that person or brand which can be accessed via freedom of information. ATO on the other hand are cracking down on the scamming ways of these influencers not declaring #gifted tit and all the events and trying to scam holidays as work related 'business' trips. So they can also access all reports.

Making complaints is certainly not a waste of time. There is 100% a bigger picture in regards to Ad Standards and I strongly suggest everyone continue making reports.

Advertisers respond as they feel they have to. But if you don’t nothing happens. How many people complained about Ultra Tune?

You’re not the only one. I can’t praise people who use their kids as cash cows.

I can never tell with Lauren and obviously none of us know for sure, but I remember she said she had a mortgage on her last place and it was probably “only” worth a million. But maybe she chose to have a mortgage instead of buying it outright (for tax maybe?) and I’m sure it wasn’t difficult to pay it off.

I guess she doesn’t plan to have kids or really do anything ever her whole life she probably has enough to last a lifetime.

Her lounge face is probably doing ok, not sure why it took her so long to launch a beauty line. She basically said the pyjama line was too much work so I wonder what she is doing differently this time.
