How have I only just found this thread?! Am starting at the beginning and looking through for recommendations…. In the meantime my offering for a brilliant artist is ATMOSPHERE. The production is next level - I love this video, just so different from the usual content

I watch ATMOSPHERE sometimes she's really talented.

Anyone else love Makayla ASMR? She's one of my favorites right now, really creative fun stuff

Whoa I didn’t know Lily was involved in that. I remember Mary’s video explaining and she hadn’t been racist, I believe she said she had a family member in the military and she wanted to keep her channel non political, but I could be mistaken.

I liked Phoenix ASMR until his recent neediness on insta, he did a few posts complaining that nobody likes his posts (pictures of himself) and flounced off but now seems to be posting (pictures of himself) pretty much daily.

I hadn't seen that! That's a bit cringe and off-putting tbh but I'm going to have to separate the art from the artist or I'd have to stop listening to half of my favourite ASMRtists. Weird Insta/Twitter shenanigans seem profilic among ASMR creators for some reason

I think something interesting about her is that she does seem to be keeping up with ASMR trends. She did a Barbie video and she did an obsessed friend video that KO ASMR has made popular lately. So she is aware of more recent styles but doesn't put any effort into updating her content???

I usually like most of ASMR Twix's videos, but honestly, I can't stand her voice people rave on and on in the comments about what a nice voice she has, but she always sounds like she has a terrible head cold with this "whisper speech" she's trying to do and managing neither a whisper (fair enough, you want the viewers to understand you) nor speaking up with her real voice. I always need to skip the last minutes of her videos because of that, but in her most recent one, she does a stupid and lengthy in-video ad and it really put me off.

I’ve just came across Julia today. Listened to a couple of her videos back to back (in bed suffering with second Covid vaccination side effects) and really enjoyed them, even though I did find it a bit odd that the camera was focused on her breasts the full time. Clicked on her channel and was a bit confused by her content? It’s all over the place. Why doesn’t she have separate channels?

she basically makes bullshit vlogs (about "wellness" and "sustainability" and whatever else she feels like complaining about ) to keep making content but her following comes from asmr mostly she only does asmr every few weeks unfortunately but I barely watch her asmr anymore.

Kind of OT but working in a bar/dancing is super lucrative (but to be fair its also really really hard work), especially in the more bougie areas of LA. She's mentioned meeting a few A-list celebrities during her time in nightlife so I imagine it was a somewhat high end club. Probably pennies compared to that youtube money though.

I saw that this morning on twitter which brought me over here so I could peep the conversation. The last weekend on her page has been a roller coaster. It's made me uncomfortable for a long time that she screenshots and humiliates her followers on her twitter page.

Yep! I found it quite sad as she had quite a few subscribers and I always saw her subscribers comments and she seemed to have a very nice community of people following her. She seems to have moved entirely to Patreon now

I don't believe everything she says, I get the feeling she likes everyone to think she's edgy and inspirational rather than a hustler, which is the real impression I have of her.

I'm really enjoying watching Chillaxinasmr on YT. First encountered her on Tiktok and she seems really relatable with a whispering English accent, which is my preference. Good clicks to mic when she is whispering.

There is an American Asmrist named ASMRBellaBree whose whispers and face to camera I find so soothing and tingly.

I'll have to check out some of these recommendations to find some more.

She's great! Can you place her accent? Some of the words she says she pronounces very differently and I don't think I've heard people say things like that before. For example, she says "length" very uniquely.

I like Tony bomboni too- his reiki and massage videos are great. Plus he’s consistent and literally uploads everyday.
I used to enjoy latte but her content is literally the same now, really boring nothing different.
Atmosphere is terrific. I love her Victorian videos and random role plays she does, it’s art.
I really do miss Itzblitzzz, she’s currently on insta in her baby/fruit bubble, I do hope to see some more Asmr related content once she’s ready.
Trisha paytas is now a front runner for me thanks-to someone on this thread. She’s great!

does anyone watch gentle whispering? I haven’t seen her stuff for over a year now, I found she got her content became stale. Is it worth checking out again?

Thoughts on Jocie B Asmr?

I like her! I only listen to asmr when I’m trying to sleep, so I feel bad that the visual aspect of it all is completely wasted on me, especially given how much effort people put into the visual content.
I do like how soft spoken she is, some of her content helps me to drop off. Not all of it, but it’s nice that she does a range of differing stuff.

Does anyone watch the healing room? She keeps getting suggested to me all the time recently. Her videos are fine but it really bothers me that she insists on putting bible verses into all of her content. Think that’s just the atheist in me being outraged though
