so the new flat tour... she mentions her dad left some chairs there... doesn't that kind of imply it was her dad's place before? and saying it is "small" as a 2 bed place, when she is in her 20s... maybe in the US that is different, but here in London that would be considered big for a person without children

Yeah same, I remember when her videos from 10 years ago were new... I always liked her videos as I don't care for ASMR with all the fancy equipment/props but it's like she went from being dedicated and wanting to improve to where she's at now, like she's stuck in a rut and can't be bothered. I watch Lila Rose ASMR and IslaASMR and think Laura could be making vids like that, a pretty simple setup but still good quality

MinxLaura123 doing a paid partnership with a lingerie company is something I did not expect to see on my Instagram feed today. Or ever! Power to her, and some of the bras look gorgeous. I'm just quite surprised, after the comments she has been making about being trolled and called ugly. For what it's worth, I think she looks lovely in the post, and is an attractive woman. I guess I just don't get where she's coming from sometimes.

Yes I saw that. I agree, she's quite confusing, one minute she's saying she's being 'bullied', the next she's posing I'm her underwear. She is very pretty and clearly confident because shes able to create content and post to thousands of strangers. She needs to stop seeking validation from strangers, she's in her mid 40s has a loving fiancée and is very talented but it doesn't seem to be enough, I genuinely think she likes attention, playing a victim has obviously earnt her lots of attention over the years, but maybe now she's trying a different method.

I know what you mean, almost as if, she wants to show everyone she has everything. So many people who work in social media come across as if they are trying to prove something, I'm not always sure who they're trying to convince of their happiness, their viewers or themselves. I tend to like vloggers and creators, who don't treat social media as their 'job' but more of a hobby, they come across as more relatable and genuine and aren't always trying to sell their viewers things

wow that’s a really interesting insight that I’m now seeing all over. That they’re trying to convince others or themselves of their happiness. Maybe that’s the point of having a platform for some. To fill a void and create a place they at least appear happy like that saying, fake it til you make it.

This morning on YouTube community posts I noticed this from MinxLaura. As much as I like her no way on earth would I get involved in this, so now she has a membership section, not sure if she still has patron and now this begging for gifts,i could understand if it if they were related to her ASMR but just appear to be random items she wants, she does have a job as does Nathan and even her mum works, so why not just buy your own bedding and jewellery. It's one thing if someone sends a gift, but to actively set up an account to list gifts that you want comes, across as greedy.

She supposedly had some surgery a couple of years back, another Youtuber made an announcement for her and she periodically uploaded after some time off but seems to have just disappeared again, mad considering she created a huge garage storage and recording area for the amount of stuff she has, don't know if that video is still up.

I agree re Be Brave Be You - I love her asmr but do you watch her other channel? She’s so defensive on it and also does beauty box unboxings every couple of weeks and moans non stop about each one! Stop ordering them if you think they’re so rubbish!

yeah I think she just wanted to seem a certain way....I truly dont see how starting to eat chicken would help her nutritional needs at all even for hormonal stuff? it seems like a cop out like her vegetarianism according to her was always about the animals/the earth but obviously not. I genuinely think shes just bored and has no real stance on anything like her days are just spent wandering around her house thinking about nothing.

I think you hit the nail on the head. She lives in LA and seems to be able to afford to live pretty lavishly, it's not like she doesn't have access/resources to eat in line with her supposed sustainability

I like her ASMR videos, but apart from that I cant take her seriously, one one hand she goes on about wanting to live quite a simple life, then both she and her boyfriend buy property. She wants to be taken seriously as a creator and then posts videos of her semi naked,usually poll dancing ,claiming she wants to move away from her old life as a stripper.She has clearly always known how to get noticed, usually resorting to sexualising her behaviour. As I said,I like her ASMR but find her a bit of a hypocrite in other areas that she preaches about

she seems like she wants to be around famous people and get as much attention as possible tbh. she will complain about social media but when I followed her she would post non stop, I guess she still is. her last asmr videos are more and more about who is in them rather than the asmr itself. her two managers she likes to talk about are working hard lol ....She'll preach as long as it suits how she wants to be seen like its been said here. the whole wellness/sustainable lifestyle thing is pretty disingenuous to begin with imo. seeing how she reacts to criticism isn't a good look either, it was what was the nail in the coffin for me a few months ago.

someone posted about itsblitzzz on the la snark reddit, it got a lot of replies agreeing how shitty she is and how weird their relationship is. I think someone wrote that she said she didn't want to raise their baby in la... They live in a multi million dollar home in Pasadena from the looks of it. Their relationship seems empty as hell, I can't imagine taking a baby away from their father for long periods of time just because you dont like LA all of a sudden. aren't those things you think of before you buy a huge house and start getting pregnant?
