yes! i think the best asmr is when it's kept simple- a decent camera and mic and then using what you have already and not needing to buy so many extra props. i don't care for medical roleplays but i've seen some that have gone so over the top with the realistic props and it's just unnecessary, you don't need to build a true-to-life hospital room set for the roleplay to work!

i posted some asmr suggestions a few pages back, but my two faves at the moment are ASMR Midnight and Lila Rose ASMR!

Since you said you like ASMR Midnight, have you watched this woman? She's really good.

I don’t like healing room. I find her like all the other fake wannabe asmrtists out there, heavy filters, heavy make up and too theatrical with the props.
also her unintelligible whispering isn’t unintelligible and that really wound me up. So unsubbed.

I don’t like her either. She has been adding music to her videos that’s really distracting and she uses this sort of guided meditation voice that doesn’t personally work for me for ASMR. Also her videos are very repetitive.

This morning on YouTube community posts I noticed this from MinxLaura. As much as I like her no way on earth would I get involved in this, so now she has a membership section, not sure if she still has patron and now this begging for gifts,i could understand if it if they were related to her ASMR but just appear to be random items she wants, she does have a job as does Nathan and even her mum works, so why not just buy your own bedding and jewellery. It's one thing if someone sends a gift, but to actively set up an account to list gifts that you want comes, across as greedy.

I had to unfollow a number of ASMRtists because of throne. I also understand if these gifts were related to ASMR but some of the things I see on there, that even get purchased!, are very expensive and clearly not related to ASMR in any way. Someone had a whole massage chair??? To be fair though, it’s nice to see Laura talking about something not related to putting herself down. I caught this on my scroll and I understand it’s a joke but also coming from her, I get the feeling it isn’t entirely. I would love to see her say something positive about herself. Anything!

dvds?! they are practically given away in shops now wtf would she be unable to buy them herself. i dont get how people aren't embarassed begging like this

I don’t understand how it isn’t embarrassing. Maybe because so many others have been doing it too that now it’s normal?

I loved Be Brave Be You when she started out. Her roleplays were a breath of fresh air. I thought she seemed pretty cool and I follow her on Insta although I find her constant selfies rather off putting and cringe. But after a while, I felt the same way as you both @I'm not Putin and @whoareyouu. At the moment, I'm not loving her videos. I think she's lost a bit of her magic.

Wow her reply is so unnecessarily rude, sorry she talked to you like that after posing a valid question. Itd be one thing if she got the bike to replace her car or to get around, because yes it is less harmful than a car but she bought it to ride it around as a hobby. Her whole 'I put money into hobbies instead of consumer goods to be less wasteful' seems really counterintuitive with hobbies like the ones she sought out.

I watched a few minutes then turned it off when she said she didn't want to discuss what happened. Why make a video and put it on YouTube if you don't want to discuss it, I can't stand the attention seeking. I only watched her for her ASMR, but now she's focusing on filming her life, I've unfollowed. I love her ASMR, she's extremely talented, but as a person I find her quite shallow

Same, it was kind of uncomfortable to see her filming herself just crying in the kitchen...I thought it might be pregnancy related but it seems more like someone close might have passed. In any case I hope she's okay.

yeah idk it cut to her crying for a minute ...the thumbnail is really quite dramatic and then shes like I dont wanna talk about it... fair enough but it just seems like she's trying to edge viewers this way LOL. like genuinely hope nothing horrible happened to her but just make asmr!!!! all her "Values" seems to have gone out the window and someone said it on here but it seems like shes having an identity crisis of sorts.

She posted my comments on her story, did a woe-is-me for not having everyone kiss her bony ass, and I got basically told to die by her dumb followers.

You were right to call her out on what she said, she clearly doesn't fully understand depression and how everyone is affected differently. She's such a pretentious smart arse

I get he clearly doesn't want to be on camera... but his coldness regarding a lot of pregnacy/miscarraige things is actually a bit shocking for me and you can even she how she seems to go blank at certain times at his reaction. And his idea about not showing the baby on social media.... totally missing the point?

People that actually fucking work don't have time for lists about eating breakfast amd drinking water. The amount of plastic she showed in her frisge the other day was vile as she used to shame people for single use plastics.

I don't get how she didn't eat meat at all, and now eats meat at pretty much EVERY meal!!!!
