Did you feel as sad as I felt when The UK ASMR disappeared? I used to love her videos in the old school days of ASMR

Omg yes. I absolutely loved her.

Did anyone watch Mitzy Whispers? She used to be Vic Quinn way way back. Don't think life was kind to her and then she was in a car accident recently and could lose sight in one eye and an arm. But her lo-fi asmr is just perfect.

I am kind of disappointed seeing how she really is, I have only watched a handful of itsblitzzz asmr videos since I don't subscribe to people nowadays (I have been getting into weird phases of things I watch for a period of time and the go for something completely different afterward).

If you're worried about having bills to pay and a house mortgage, get a part-time job. You're lucky to have been able to buy something at all in this day and age when a lot of people are struggling to keep food on their tables.

Am i a tiny bit jealous, of course! I will never be able to buy an apartment with expensive rent (I have an unusual last name so finding somewhere with cheaper rents is impossible, trust me I spent two months last year trying) student loan and a bank loan (had to pay the deposit somehow).

If I was only somewhat attractive or got into the whole YT thing before the talented younger generation came along, I could have made some nice amount of income as a part-time YT. It´s when you start going full-time YT that YouTubers get lazy, greedy, and even more greedy.

She did a vlog the other day going on about nick being on Saturday night live. It’s hard to feel sorry for them tbh

I don't like female ASMR creators because male voices give me tingles and female voices don't so I prefer smaller channels where the guy reads or des mic brushing and stuff. Not into roleplays. I watch Easy asmr, Zeitgeist and Relaxing Male but I do wish there would be more male creators who aren't teenagers or overly sexual.

Have you tried FredsVoice ASMR? He does like a role play but he has mic brushing and he has a distinct voice imagine Thor did ASMR and you’re there.

Creative Calm and Scottish Murmurs are very guilty of this imo. Both of them constantly posting overly provocative and suggestive titles and thumbnails. It's embarrassing to see talented creator's go down the hyper sexualised route.

Scottish Mumurs has gotten terrible for it.

Its a shame i used to be such a karuna fan back in the day watched her from pretty early on actually respected her from where she came from to where she ended up i stopped following her when she then spoke about festivals and doing psychedelic drugs while also trying to say she was sober and clean i know thats a whole other thing and some people do not see them as drugs as some of it is natural stuff but she was discussing this stuff going on around her kids while celebrating being off methadone and then the other thing is she just starts drama with everyone for no reason at all shes so problematic

There's so much about her that is just hypocritical. I also used to find her poll dancing videos quite tacky. OK it did used to be her job and I don't have an issue with that, but if you're making a YouTube video, why dress like a stripper, when surely the focus is on the art of pole dancing. She's very aware that sex sells, hence why she often posts videos of her dressed quite provocatively. It's all about making money and her background has taught her how to sell herself.

I love goodnight moon and I’ve not seen her latest video yet, maybe will check it out tonight but yeah I do feel her content is getting lazy. I’m really invested in her babblebrook series as it’s literally stunning and probably the most amazing piece of asmr cinema out there. I appreciate that it takes time to make these videos and money, but recently a lot of asmrists r getting complacent. Maybe running out of ideas in a very saturated market?

I have noticed this with a few of the people I watch. I used to really like Rapunzel but it feels like she's just repeating or even using other people's ideas (I saw a video she did that obv came from ASMR Zeitgeist like she used his microphone eyes) and it feels like it's lost the heart. Goodnight Moon I think I have noticed this for a little while. Maybe people who have been at it a while are burning out?

I really like ShilliTV! Same for ASMR Twix (I think I like her videos a tad more even), simply because the treatments are nice to look at, interesting and different. I'd pay good money to go to a "head spa", but they simply don't exist here

So. she's illegally exposed a minor to adult fans - this is sick, coming from a woman that genuinely believes she cares for others. Should be ashamed of herself.

To add to that, what the hell is she doing that is different from most other ASMR/role play channels to be able to call someone out for plagiarism? They're all pretty damn similar to me.

Be Brave Be You and Tinglestorm both copy a bunch of artists, Tinglestorm even copys all the way down to descriptions lol (I think so does B Brave but I didn't look super close) And when Starling blocked them to stick up for herself they called her a bully and tried to cancel her off Twitter. Suprise surprise Glow joined in and so did several others. It's embarrassing to see

I know there are women who have kids to kind of find meaning or purpose in their lives and I get that vibe here. She's seems chronically bored and unhappy and all over the place. and honestly when she would bring in semi or famous people to do asmr on I was like .... ugh. I loved her role plays but her personality online takes me out of it.

I know what you mean, almost as if, she wants to show everyone she has everything. So many people who work in social media come across as if they are trying to prove something, I'm not always sure who they're trying to convince of their happiness, their viewers or themselves. I tend to like vloggers and creators, who don't treat social media as their 'job' but more of a hobby, they come across as more relatable and genuine and aren't always trying to sell their viewers things

She did that with me a couple of years ago when I told her that advocating that depression is treated with medicine "all too often" is anti-science and shaming bull shit. She was like, "Well, I'm speaking up for the people who just need to exercise and eat right!!11!"

Minxlaura's family dynamic is really bizarre, her, her bf and mum work at the same place as well as live together. I doubt Laura has ever lived independently and she's in her 40s! Which will explain why she's shockingly immature.

That's him! That's the guy, Batman! He's shelled out THOUSANDS on items for all sorts of UK-based ASMRtists (maybe others). I don't know if he's rich or has a fetish, or is rich and has a fetish or what, but I really don't think it's just 'kindness'... he should dump some money into WhispersRed's animal shelter.

Charlette (WhisperAudios) also re-stocked her Throne with some even more expensive items including a five-thousand dollar vacation package. I don't know what to think anymore. Bath bombs, cosmetics, snacks and clothing don't bug me, but asking strangers to send you off on holiday... At least the laptop is work-related I guess.

It does seem very odd. Ive noyiced some of them have really exprnsive items,like you said a holiday package,seems quite greedy to expect viewers to pay for such expendive items. Is this why so many people are leaving regular jobs to make posting on social nedia their job

Those are the type I've seen too! Whilst I was following her on Instagram about a year ago she had asked for suggestions to improve her videos and when someone suggested a green screen for backgrounds, she posted the comment on her stories with a scathing response that her followers don't want to see that, and implied that she works harder than ASMRtists that used those. I'm sure she'll think we are "trolls" for pointing this out but I think its a bit mean to have that reaction to people who watch her videos and aren't trying to upset her, and in many cases are just responding to what she has asked

What on earth... as if no work whatsoever goes into using a green screen? I actually thought her green screen videos looked good and it's pretty bad that she felt the need to put other ASMRtists down as well. There was another time when she made a post on YT about reaching a sub milestone, I made the mistake of thiking that she'd reached it when she actually meant that it was coming up, so I congratulated her and said how she deserves it as she's so good at ASMR, etc, got a reply back and of course she had to correct me.. I know I made a small mistake but just take the compliment! should've known from the first time not to bother commenting again

Definitely a very different person to a few years ago,I used to love her content. It disgusts me that she uses mental health,her relationship breakdown and her kids as excuses for not working and begging her followers. She raised a significant amount of money to build her studio,more than double she actually needed. Its almost as if she sees her you tube followers as a personal cash machine, rather than getting a job to pay for things. I wonder if any of the money is declared

I Wonder what changed. If it’s seeing other people using throne and getting lots of things bought for them or what. When she asked for crowdfunding to get tattoos to cover her scars I started getting a weird feeling but I could also empathize with that one. But it just branched out to all these other things and the empathy disappeared and turned to ick.

You come off this way too when you bully and never apologize. I know you don't realize you've hurt ppl but when someone says "you've hurt me", you don't attack and deny or lie (remind you of someone?) You apologize.

Honestly the more I've seen from her over the last year or so... I question what really happened with her and Crinkle. Brave never posted actual receipts and none of the screenshots in Karuna's videos really had anything to do with it or they were kind of around the situation but not actually proving the situation. I don't know but seeing the Starling interactions and watching her vlogs especially the most recent one and how eager she is to take the victim role and how quick she is to anger... it's curious.

It's more than that now, yes. Broadly anti-trans now. Before it was just about wanting to play a game (pretty harmless at that time imo) but its evolved into hate. Rapunzel ASMR is jumping in as well, didn't realize she was anti-trans too. Doubt she'll see backlash from this though because I believe you're right, everyone is too scared of being bullied by her to step in

She's also blocking anyone and everyone who even vaguely disagrees with her she decided to take a stand on an extremely sensitive issue... tbh I think she wants the heat & the drama.

radical views about someone wearing overalls reading a book?? Oooooookay. I just find it interesting consider she’s also done quite a few videos representing the LGBTQIA+ community but this is how she’s responding. There’s a lot more to see on Twitter but I don’t feel like going through all of the threads.
