Those are the type I've seen too! Whilst I was following her on Instagram about a year ago she had asked for suggestions to improve her videos and when someone suggested a green screen for backgrounds, she posted the comment on her stories with a scathing response that her followers don't want to see that, and implied that she works harder than ASMRtists that used those. I'm sure she'll think we are "trolls" for pointing this out but I think its a bit mean to have that reaction to people who watch her videos and aren't trying to upset her, and in many cases are just responding to what she has asked

What on earth... as if no work whatsoever goes into using a green screen? I actually thought her green screen videos looked good and it's pretty bad that she felt the need to put other ASMRtists down as well. There was another time when she made a post on YT about reaching a sub milestone, I made the mistake of thiking that she'd reached it when she actually meant that it was coming up, so I congratulated her and said how she deserves it as she's so good at ASMR, etc, got a reply back and of course she had to correct me.. I know I made a small mistake but just take the compliment! should've known from the first time not to bother commenting again

I’ve seen her do this multiple times now on twitter with comparing herself to ASMRtists and how none of them work as hard as she does or have it mean as much to them as it does to her. Constant drama it seems with her especially with starling and others she believes wronged her. Makes me wonder almost about what actually happened with her and starling or her and crinkleluvin. It feels like for her, being seen as the best and growing her audience is more important now than her actual ASMR work or her viewers. I unsubber as soon as she started that ‘helloooooooo lovelies….’ because I know she won’t accept any feedback.

I checked out Ecuador live channel, really nice, but unfortunately a bit too fast for me, so no ASMR what a shame, I had high hopes as you all recommended her. What I did like though and what I will come back for is the simple set-up. I love a fancy spa setting, but I really enjoyed seeing her in a regular room and using everyday items.

someone posted this on her tweet. It’s longbut really well stated and it hit me because I never really thought about how she’s influencing so many younger people.

That was very well put. Regardless of whether you're 'team Amber' or 'team Johnny', the disgusting tweets Caruna posted were completely unnecessary. She will never change, I think she is an extremely damaged individual and rather than trying to better herself, improve or take accountability, she chooses to use her past as an excuse for her behaviour /actions.

What asmr are you guys watching these days?... there's so many channels to choose from but idk I'm picky I guess. I like personal attention/role play - not so much random asmr trigger videos. lmk any of your favorites!

Aside from the ones already mentioned, ALB in Whisperland and Goodnight Moon are definitely favourites - both do great personal attention / role play videos, and are so calming and gentle (I can never understand how ALB doesn’t have more subs).
I also go to Be Brave Be You, Sharm, Yvette ASMR and Sophie Michelle a lot.

I really really like Latte, she used to do great long intros as mentioned previously, hasn’t done one in a while though. The only thing that’s kind of off putting for me is her constantly making gulping sounds and funny lip sound like when your mouth is dry and you need a drink, hope I’m making sense lol!

I loved Blizz’s hair videos, any time anyone does hair play on another person it’s tingle heaven for me but her vlogs feel like a reality show to me and her take on things is so out of touch.

New topic I wanted to throw out because I’ve been seeing this a lot and find it quite odd and even disturbing, but how do you all feel, if you’ve noticed, about the rise in ASMRtists role playing underaged anime girls? I’ve been seeing a few people like Jinx and Shanny role playing characters from Demon Slayer or My Hero Academia who are young teenagers and making them sexualized and it’s pretty cringe? Just me?

If y'all love Korean ASMR I would highly recommend ASMR WANTDO! She does the best public videos with these really great mixes of triggers -- like, I don't even mind her mouth sounds. That right there is how good she is.

So many ASMR creators have set up patreon accounts, but I've noticed, quite a few charge for people to see videos early, then release the same content on YouTube 48hours later, surely if subscribers are paying monthly they should have content that is not generally released on YouTube, I'd feel robbed. I appreciate people need to earn money, but don't just use old content or release a few days early and think that justifies charging viewers.

If people are willing to pay for it then that’s on then, they could easily cancel their sub!

I really like Myaling, she puts amazing effort and detail into her videos. Also like August asmr.
I used to like Kewas but since she introduced a gift list she's gone down the sexy/seductive route, albeit very subtly. I'm guessing this is to garner more gifts. Also her repetitive use of the word 'perfect' became too irritating.

I love goodnight moon and I’ve not seen her latest video yet, maybe will check it out tonight but yeah I do feel her content is getting lazy. I’m really invested in her babblebrook series as it’s literally stunning and probably the most amazing piece of asmr cinema out there. I appreciate that it takes time to make these videos and money, but recently a lot of asmrists r getting complacent. Maybe running out of ideas in a very saturated market?

I have noticed this as well as some channels going into more sexual content to probably try to compete with all the new artists. One in particular is ASMR Shanny, she’s been going more and more into fetish type of content with feet and BDSM suggestive type of stuff lol. It’s interesting to see from some of these people. Scottish Murmurs and Creative Calm, also though they’ve been down that road a bit longer but it does seem like Scottish has been pushing it further recently.

I have noticed this with a few of the people I watch. I used to really like Rapunzel but it feels like she's just repeating or even using other people's ideas (I saw a video she did that obv came from ASMR Zeitgeist like she used his microphone eyes) and it feels like it's lost the heart. Goodnight Moon I think I have noticed this for a little while. Maybe people who have been at it a while are burning out?

BBBY had this grand freak out/mental breakdown about reading a blog of like 10 ppl max saying criticism. When she cancelled Starling it was hundreds. When she cancelled Crinkleluvin it was hundreds of thousands. If she can't handle 10 PEOPLE she needs to get off the internet.
