100% it was to stay in bed but more importantly to avoid Alf. She once actually said something along the lines of having to breast feed Ada meant she didn’t have to do much else.So that's it, she's got her life back. Back in London, Ada off the boob, able to travel. Assuming they have child care sorted (will she be be introducing her FT help soon? she's young, free Ashley again....but with a check list of 'life goals' ticked off that of course you absolutely shouldn't worry about and don't mean success and are only there because society and the patriarchy.
I can't understand why she chose to breast feed Ada and not introduce a bottle sooner given how it made her feel with Alf, her intention so start childcare sooner, her resentment of the responsibility/tie of exclusive BF.
Can it really have all been for content or be able to laze in bed and leave Alf to TNB? She has chosen to end it with the move back to London, which is her prerogative, as is a weekend away, a week alone to do the house, childcare etc, but not while claiming to be a present, attachment, responsive, child-led parent.
She'll be happier for it and she's say it's the magic of London when she could have done it in Essex but didn't bother. Just like she didn't bother to make friends, do date nights (ish), join the community etc rather sulking until she got back to London.
And the posts will keep coming about how she’s got her life back.
