Good question! I have no idea, all I know is someone I know was hit with the below:

If you have parental responsibility for a child but you do not live with them, it does not mean you have a right to spend time with your children.

Pulled from UK Gov website. He's a fab dad though and has been put through it by his ex, who has used the children to get back at him for walking away from their abusive relationship

Edit to say she's quite similar to Ash and isn't interested in her kids and struggles to cope with them, but will keep him from seeing them as payback

The person you know situation sounds just like my relative. In the end he realised that she wouldn’t ever go through with withholding access because it would mean she actually had to take care of the children herself.

It’s too easy for the resident parent (let’s be honest, usually the mother) to refuse access as a weapon

Sorry don’t know how to do a spoiler/going off topic that’s really interesting my daughter has milk intolerance and I’m sure other allergies and she always looks like this. Is it any specific allergies that cause your child to flare up around the eyes or any of them? X

thank you that’s really kind. This is how her eyes always look despite 12 hours sleep and a nap every day. Do you think that’s allergies? Doctors haven’t really been too bothered even though she’s always flaring up dry skin/eczema etc. so hard to work out what’s causing it!

It could be but hard to know for sure. Do you have good support with the eczema? There’s a brilliant allergy specialist GP on insta who has an fb group too where she gives advice and support including eczema.

It’s only her that has them on different levels in the first place and her “I always say I’d love the be a Dad”.

ETA: I guess single dads and SAHDs doesn’t exist in Ashley’s world. What does she think happens to the dads if they have the kids in her “single mums are amazing” scenarios.

I think it’s the one up the road from her, rather than next door.
