So a friend of my sister lives in her road, not one of the witnesses or nothing, and she’s just been saying that about 3/4 weeks before Ashleys windows actually got put in by men looking for Lee, threatening to come back and petty bomb the house and stuff. Nothing got reported to the police they just got the windows fixed and carried on so it seems there’s a lot of people who clearly don’t like Lee

These lads are living with their parents, spending their days in a crummy flat above a takeaway, staying in shitty hotels and driving Audis for day trips to Rhyl.
That is nothing to be proud of? Where’s the mansions, the sports cars, the watches, Barbados holidays?! They have F all when u think about it. I saw some pics of that phoebe birch out in Mayfair. They all looked like ducks out of water.

I’d like to believe Ashley knew that Lee wasn’t good enough for her and one day she’d have found the strength to walk away. My oldest daughter is in her 20s and trust me - I have no control over her love life. I can only hope I’ve taught her right from wrong. Everyone makes mistakes, especially in relationships - but poor Ashley never got the chance to put hers right. Rest in peace.

Thick as shit at the end of the day. A huge part of the evidence against them was the constant phone calls pinging back an forth as they check what's going on amongst themselves. Mobile phones have made detectives jobs so much easier. They're going down partially cos they couldn't resist getting the geg. And thank god Ashley left a record of her worries on voice notes. Keep your friends in the loop about your lives girls!

See the CPS quoted as stating “Ms Cristinacce-Travis said there could be further prosecutions – with decisions still to be taken on further people arrested in the wake of Ms Dale's murder.”

they might have guessed at IF’s history when he mentioned phoning his dad on the prison phone and they had asked for the transcript but it was too long or something?!

But yeah Ashley will definitely have known he was a drug dealer. But it seemed most of her friends were also with drug dealers so it seems to be the norm?

radford: not sure - actually kinda feel sorry for him as I genuinely believe he didn’t know the extent of what the car was involved in.

Don’t agree with Ian coming across as all sweet an innocent. The red flag was raised as soon as he mentioned he had a call with his dad who was also in nick. The whole ‘yes sir, no sir, three bags full’ sir won’t wash with jury.

Also one thing I can’t get my head around. A few of the lads said Witham came back and owned up to what he had done as soon as he did it.. yet when he was on the dock there was no mention of that and he said he kept it all inside for weeks.
Felt like that could’ve been discussed more. Saying that the updates on the echo must of not be a snippet of what actually gets said.

Imagine the horror and worry of being a jury member on a case like this. Realising the utter no-marks they associate with.

That's why Cashmans was in Manchester wasn't it, I assume. To get a fair trial/incase of jury intimidation. I'd wanna be sat there in a sombrero and a false mustache if I was on a big case. You don't know what bastard member of the family could be memorising your face.
