I’ve not read the previous threads, I plan to though, but my heart aches for Saff. I think she always comes across lovely. I don’t like Ashley, I think he’s arrogant and narcissistic, I don’t even get good vibes about them as a couple - their grief has been very separate and never truly looked like a team through it all. He does not look like he’s supporting her and all her support comes from her brother. She seems very alone in this and I think Ashley is so absorbed in himself and his grief too that he doesn’t even seem to care for Saff.
Not 100% sure how I feel about them making a foundation for their child, it’s a nice sentiment but I know of other cancer mums who post their children’s journey through a small family member of mine currently going through her maintenance block for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. I think there is a feeling of “well they’re not the only ones whose child is sick” etc too and as though all of a sudden they’re spokespersons for it (more so Ashley, I think Saff is harmless)… I don’t know, there’s just something off about it and I didn’t like how public their funeral and the speeches and the paparazzi pics were.
