Yeah but not gifted in return for advertising,the service was simply because the person wanted to do it for they didn’t do it simply for advertisement and she did thank her.we also don’t 100% know if she does pay these people as she hasn’t said

It’s the actual law, as per the ASA’a own guidelines (here: https://www.asa.org.uk/uploads/assets/uploaded/3af39c72-76e1-4a59-b2b47e81a034cd1d.pdf) she would have to mark any shout outs as #ad

it’s not insta law but there is an advertising standards authority who have guidelines and laws about all social media advertising. As far as we know she is being given things by people as gifts just for her and not for her to influence others to use them, she’s not in a contract or agreement to do so therefore she would not be applicable to this

But as far as we know they are giving her a gift as individual to individual if she tags them and tells others to use them that’s different. She doesn’t have to make it as AD because she isn’t advertising their services

Agreed she’s not collaborating with brands to create content, they are giving her stuff and hence she’s not posting about them on her own feed or stories because then she would fall foul of ASA if it wasn’t tagged as gifted. Like someone else said she probably doesn’t want to be posting gifted/ad content at the moment as she would get slated for it, so that’s why she hasn’t tagged the eyelash tech

In her defence if somebody gives her a gift I don’t see why she needs to do a post with their business page like I personally would but unlike most celebs at least she says thank you x

The rules are if you get a service gifted you have to clearly mark it as so. It’s not down to tattle it’s literally advertising laws.

opinions on these services won’t be unbiased if free so views have to know that. It’s not a great advert for the lash women anyway who’s clearly not followed procedure and done a sample test

If it was just a kind free gift that wasn’t to promote the company then influencers shouldn’t share it on their feed if they don’t tag it properly

if she was working with a brand it would be AD or sponsored. Which is declared differently

All of the above is of course if she is getting it for free. But influencers can’t pick and choose when and what to declare
