I just feel so sorry for Saf, are people forgetting she is azaylia's mummy? She carried that beautiful little girl for 9 months and you can clearly see she is broken. Its as if its all just a big show about Ashley and his daughter and she's just forgotten about, its quite sad to see. I'm not in their position and hopefully never will be, yes we only see snippets of their life but I just feel that Saf isn't supported as much as Ashley.

Also I'm sure there is an element of wanting to do this for their daughter. Show her the world as he said. I made the same promise to my daughter. I have never lifted a finger to raise money for sick kids. Have any of you undertaken something like this? It's well and good to criticise people for acting the maggot but this is a couple who have literally just lost their child. They spent more of her life with her sick than not. Most of it in hospital. What they went through is horrific. Doesn't look like they are doing any harm to me.

There was a comment that struck me as odd when azaylia was at home, and it was something like "we're 2 peas in a pod, wherever she is I'm not far away that's where we feel the most comfy" but that's abit bloody insensitive to her mum, who carried her for 9 months, then 8 weeks into a csection recovery her babies being blue lighted to hospital with bloody leaukemia

I will say that the slogan "fearless in the fight against children's cancer" is beautiful. Especially given that childhood cancer gets virtually 0 funding and there havent been many breakthroughs in treatment plans or cures in a long time.

I know they said they will use the foundation to give money to families who need to pay for treatment overseas, that is amazing.

Like someone said it really has become a circus. And Ashley is just going to run himself into the ground. Go to each stop off point quietly go to your hotel and eat and sleep! Making a whole big spectacle of it is just stupid. And realistically, as awful as it is people are going to forget about baby A, remember Alfie was on everyone’s profile banners on fb, now u never hear or see anything about him now and that’ll be baby A soon. Once another high profile sick baby comes along she will be pushed to the side while all the crazies worship a new sick baby, it’s just fucking weird!

Same with the nurse mum on her thread . She’s set up a shop selling merch fir her dead child I’m sorry who would buy a T-shirt of a child that’s no longer here that you don’t even know . Imagine loosing a child and seeing strangers wearing a T-shirt with them on doesn’t sit right with me . Especially the nurse mum she’s financially gaining from it no is charity set up either . I would never want to gain money from my child’s death it’s disgusting in my eyes

Your comment is really not in the spirit of staying safe and protecting the NHS! Current advice is to continue to social distance and wear a mask in crowded spaces. The government allow us to make sensible decisions that respect our own safety and those around us. I guess that's the point.....
Everyone is trying to get back to normal. If people choose to continue to wear masks etc that’s fine but that’s no longer the rules

View attachment 752029Im in full support of what they’re doing but I do not support the beggy behaviour. Especially after this last year and a half, and for people in that sector having to stop work altogether as no one was getting massages etc. They’ve probably lost out on thousands and they’re expecting free massages? No thanks!
Guilt tripping small businesses with the mention of cancer. Shouldn’t a manager or someone have had this all arranged beforehand

I have had to unfollow them both because its painful to see.

That poor poor woman went through 9 months of pregnancy, a rough birth which ended up in c section to then find out her baby has cancer and then watching her die all for Ashley to get every last bit of credit, he treats her like absolute shit, doesnt give a single shit about her its all about his family and never saffs, always 'my' daughter and never 'ours' he never says saffs name its always 'my partner' and that's narcissism all over, she is an object to him, he is disgusting and vile and I cannot stand him, I understand grief does awful things.

The only reason I reckon he's not broke up with her is because it will give him a bad name and god forbid that happens.

And it's so weird everyone turning up to these finish lines, my own friend turned up and got a picture with him and I literally thought this guy only got to where he is now because of his daughter passing away? God rest her soul. I do feel for them but the way he has gone about things is disgusting and don't know how his 'fans' can get tattoos and shit its fuckin weird

On that live this afternoon someone said “Ashley is lucky to have you” and Saf said “ahhh thank you. Sometimes men need to be told that.”
She also said she really wanted to take part in the cycling even just for 20 miles but she said the issue is that “the guys take off so quickly and I can’t keep up.” She then repeated herself and looked really sad and said “I just don’t think they have the patience for me.” I was torn between feeling so sorry for her and being pissed off because she hinted about wanting a massage about 8 times, in the bits I caught, but that last bit, made me let her off the begging. I’ll fucking go and give her a massage after that.
What a disgrace Ashley is. They should be crossing the finishing line together, even if saf only rode the bike for 10 minutes at the end

I genuinely think Safiyya is such a sweet, vulnerable soul who has little to no support. The only person who has been solid for her is her brother who, like I mentioned before, has his old life, so he cannot run to her aid all the time even though he may want to. The begging for services from her and the odd desire to want to be in the spotlight is something I think she's always wanted, but she just doesn't need that lifestyle right now. It doesn't suit her and she's not mentally strong enough. She just needs to take some time out and focus on herself. Ashley on the other hand.... I sympathise with him so much but I'm sorry, he's really milking this and using Azaylia's tragic death to boost his profile. He's always wanted a piece of this life and be admired by people, hence the meet ups, the cringe insta posts. He doesn't give a crap about Saf, it's all about him. I cannot stand the guy. Never have really. I hope Safiyya opens her eyes, gets the help she needs, dumps that selfish prick and moves on. Also, I hope she reconciles with her mother. At the end of the day, I'm sure her Mum will have her back quicker than Ashley Gandhi Cain.

I find it all a bit much people throwing their kids on top of Ashley to cuddle/kiss like they’ve just seen Sir Tom Jones, Ashley is not a celebrity he’s a grieving man why the hell does he want to hug and kiss a child he’s never met!

All the desperate slaggy women flocking round him like flies to shit!

If they all want to do something productive for children with cancer then go donate to cancer wards take presents for the kids pamper items for mom and dad coffee for the doctors and nurses and stop all this circus shit!

I don't have the patience to watch the lives but honestly, I feel like that is Ash in her head telling her there's no point her doing it because she won't be able to keep up. Maybe he has said it like, randomly and then it just stuck. Bless her. She was riding 25 mile bike rides by herself, and if she does the last bit, does it matter how long it takes? They set off so late in the day anyway & they get crowds regardless.

It's probably why Saff doesnt really have any friends, cuz if Saff was my mate I'd really struggle to not tell Ash about himself after all this!

First time in this thread, where to start.... I've followed since Azaylia got really ill and my God, what they've been through defies belief to me. I don't know how they hell they are still walking around, and I really try not to judge grieving parents because I have no clue what I would do in their shoes (nor do I ever want to find out), but I can't get my head around how everything is publicised on social media these days. I don't know if i'm just of a different generation or something? However, all that aside, what I can't understand and what worries me the most is how much Ashley exercises- since Azaylia died he has lived and breathed exercise and I find it really worrying - it's not healthy. Sure he could be doing a LOT worse (and truthfully I imagine there is some steroidal drug use going on but hey, not my circus, not my monkeys etc.) but all this exercise is insane and he's going to crash one day. He seems to be doing it out of some sort of keeping focused mentality but I just feel like he's just not dealing with his grief and that is really bad news. I could be talking crap, its just what I see. Saf on the other hand, god I just want to pick her up and hug her :( That poor girl, and she's left on her own whilst he's off doing this bike ride - I get why he's doing it but come on mate, she needs you.

She honestly looks like she worships the ground he walks on and is so proud of him and admires and loves him so much, it’s actually breaks my heart, I wish he would show her the same love and attention
