Ugh. A girl I know who I really like is posting stuff that is anti lockdown. She says it is hard on her little boy, which I have no doubt about but it is hard for everyone. She is really into the law of attraction stuff and I am sure would refer to herself as a CT.
I think what annoys me MOST about people complaining about lockdown, lots of people I know do the same, is this "it is so hard for me with..." very rarely is ANYONE an exception, like so many single parents with small children, so many WFH single parents etc etc etc... I am not saying it is not hard (obviously) but each person seems to think they are the only one?

Lockdown is hard for everyone. I've yet to meet anyone who loves it. Apart from my friend who is a complete introvert 😂 but she's hating not getting her hair done and atuff

My mother, always said that people don't die of Covid19, any death is a Covid19 certificate

But every death after someone has been vaccinated is the vaccine. Sometimes, I hate speaking to her, because she sees to get all her information from YouTube.

My all time favourite conspiracy theory was the one espoused about the supermodel Caprice really being a man. Absolutely bonkers.

As for the vaccine ones, it all has the smell of the cynical manipulation of aggressively ignorant fools.

For example, back when trains were being pushed as an alternative to canals for transporting goods in the 1800s, canal boat owners paid local priests to extol the Biblical evils of trains. The canal boat owners also quietly pushed mounted letter writing campaigns / pushed pamphlets against the new technology that would rival theirs. The propaganda accused trains of everything such as the souring the milk of cows, that the human body wasn’t meant to travel at 30mph, that trains caused barrenness in women, lack of potency in men, physical and mental impairment in children etc.

Sound familiar?

That the Christian denominations got behind bullshit like that then as well as pushing against modern medicine such as vaccines now should forever be a testament to what big business fear-based religion is, how much it competes with technology for power and how it’ll take any sum of money to push whatever rubbish the donor wants to spew.

Those people complaining about not getting appointments. Most GP's are not having anything to do with Covid19 patients, so they either lying about not getting an appointment, or they are in the rare minority.

People who are complaining about appointments and treatment being cancelled, haven't figured out, if you lift the lockdown rules, those treatment and appointments will be still being cancelled due to the lack of underfunding of the NHS.

I'm beginning to hate people more since the lockdown, I don't speak to cousins, aunts, next door neighbours due to their constant conspiracy theories about the government using the vaccine to control the people.

Looking through the CT thread, there's a reason we are still in a lockdown, but as soon as you make a post that doesn't go against your agenda, or you question their belief, they try and say that your tone isn't nice.

Guys, Wi-Fi is potentially dangerous now. People apparently can ‘feel’ the waves from their Wi-Fi or something.

I mean what next, oxygen is toxic?

Let's hope they stop using the internet then. That'd be a good thing!

The Communist Manifesto is quite a dry read, so I can't blame them. But you're absolutely right.
probably wouldn;t even know who marx was tbh. It makes me laugh all the time when Trump supporters criticise the democrats for wanted to make a communist country/socialised medicine etc. I mean the US has almost no welfare system at all, how they can view it as about to fall to communism...

Aw some of the comments are crazy. When Biden was elected saw so many "get ready for socialism guys!" and comparing him to Jeremy Corbyn?!

If Biden or Obama ran in the UK, they'd be Tories judging by their political stances.

I'd say that Biden and Obama are pretty much like Tony Blair, a watered down Tory.

Did you hear the woman, a Trump fan she didn't want to live under socialised medicine, and then listed a bunch of countries with socialised medicine.

exactly! for a large part the democrats are basically on a par with the middle ground tories, I mean even the right of the party would never (publicly) criticise free health care. It is funny how the US differs so much from a lot of Europe in this respect
