Even when there's scientifically proven evidence if you offer it to them you'll be shouted down and branded asleep or brainwashed by MSM. Some of the CTs I've come across even insist Andrew Wakefield was reinstated after being struck off the register after the Autism/vaccine debacle. Unreal.

Life is all about give and take but for those who want their freedom but don’t want the vaccine or to comply with the guidance it is only about take and clearly that’s the attitude they have about most things… compensation for having to stay home comes to mind.

We would all rather Covid hadn’t happened, but it has and it’s here so we as a collective society need to do what’s best for everyone.

I was listening to a reproductive specialist on the radio last night, vaccines are known for messing up mensural cycles for a month or two because your immune system is closely linked with your sex hormones and let’s be honest stress has a massive impact too. It’s not a new or surprising side effect and should only last a month or two. But the CTs like to take it run to the moon with such news 🙄
Science and its evidence are not effective sources when it comes to people who believe that their ignorance and fear are as valid as other people's knowledge and understanding.
Anti-vaxxers aren't anti-vaccination because they're believers in science, they're anti-vaccination because they're believers in themselves.

“Do your own research!!!!!!! No, not that JAMA article…this blog my decorator has written!” 😩

I would love to read this! Are you planning to publish it at all?
It will be through publishing in a few months I think, but unfortunately i won’t be linking it on here as it will have my name on it!

What really irks me is when anti-vaxxers say they’re disgusted with influencers promoting the vaccine, but when influences who criticise the vaccine are called out those same people say it’s freedom of speech and opinion. I guess it’s only freedom of speech when they agree!

This just epitomises the kind of misinformation
that boils my blood. This is by Ellie Grey who lies about having degrees and pretty much everything else.
OMG how thick is this woman? 😭 Imagine not only being that stupid but having the ignorance/ arrogance to tell everyone you know best! You’d have to be pretty thick to believe what she says surely? I mean how could raw food cure cancer? Basic question surely anyone with half a brain would ask.

also we have the NHS. The government don’t want to make profit on illness. Stopping medical treatment and telling everyone to eat fruit instead would save them trillions and trillions of ££. They’d do it in a second if it worked 😂

She claims she's cured her own -highly dubious- cancer. What you've said about the NHS makes way more sense than what this idiot claims! Any country with a universal health care system would jump at the chance to give us all a fruit allowance instead of free hospital care.

The sad fact is that every person I know has been affected by cancer, whether it's a relative or someone at work, a friend or themselves. Dicks like Ellie Grey give desperate people false hope just to get their own names out there.

Sorry for the essay, it's a subject guaranteed to get my nostrils flaring!🤪

It's a pity that we wont be able to read your paper but I understand the concern. People are nuts these days!

Like you said it's freedom for them but not for the others.

My brain is completely frazzled. They have gone quiet on the main Covid thread and are now on another thread which seems to be taking quiet a turn. 🤯

My problem is that I see stuff like that and think it has to be a wind-up because there's no way any sane rational person would believe all of that.
I get that people might be to one or two of those things but all of it at the same time, dear god

Worse is the collateral damage to some fairly reasonable sensible things caused by their inclusion, e.g. herbal medicine is often part of a wider regime that includes adjustments to diet etc which are of overall benefit to health.

Though just to throw a spanner in the works, I'll suggest that homeopathy is actually a well disguised and fiendishly cunning way of getting people to stay hydrated.

@Doctor_Wibble This is just a small sample of her fuckwittery. 🤓I agree with some homeopathic remedies as well. In my 20s I was really sick for months. Nothing was working so my mum took me to a naturopath and I was back to good health within a month.
The diet I was put on wasn't sustainable in the long term but I definitely learned to eat better.

At risk of being completely and utterly wrong, I would hazard a guess that most people really don''t have a problem with anyone going for alternative and/or complementary medicine as long as it doesn't exclusively involve magic or the rejection of actual science.

Personally I would but as I said in the other thread I understand 100% why people wouldn’t risk that.
If I were pregnant, I would want it. I get the nervousness, but all those stories about women getting covid late-term and ending up giving birth in comas and some of them dying. That's what I'd be terrified of.

I think Mitchell and Webb have done a feature on Ellie's ideal hospital. 😅

Frightening expecting mothers with the fear of miscarrying or having a stillborn is possibly the most heinous thing they’re doing at the moment.

They would rather a woman catching Covid possibly losing their life or their child or both than to lose an argument.

I think some other countries are doing this too.

I think it could work but would probably involve doing tests a couple of times?
I am totally for it. It makes sense that if you’re vaccinated, you have a lesser risk of transmitting the virus and therefore the strict restrictions should not apply to you as much as those who aren’t vaccinated (and have a higher chance of transmission).

I wouldn’t mind doing extra tests at all, I have to take them twice a week anyway for my course.

Yes I think this is the idea around it and what some countries are doing - dropping the quarantine for those that are vaccinated and instead getting them to do tests. I wouldn’t mind the tests either, they take very little time.

It could be a good compromise! Giving some freedom back to people who are vaccinated could also push more to get the vaccine.
