Yes, looks like this will be the background for the rest of the pandemic.Lately she has been filming in her own home, in the living room. And we can see some of her new furnitures.
Basically it's just a white couch and a white chair and two small glass tables next to each other.
A fake chandelier, a white room divider and she still has (I saw) that ugly bamboo 1940s room divider there.
That, and a painting on the wall and two lamps standing next to each other.
I don't see what's so special about those furnitures that you have to buy them in a different country and import them.
You can find such furnitures in a regular store that sells furniture.
Not to mention, these furnitures are tasteless too, like her sense of style. Because people who are really wealthy, especially from old money,
they tend to buy like dark wood, things that cost and are timeless. These furnitures make me think of this bohemian trendy chic style where everything is in white. And white is as we all know the cheapest kind. Ie IKEA.

I agree with the dark hardwood furniture. I have self-made wealthy parents and grew up with custom made dark wood furniture, flooring, stair handles, etc. I was tired of this aesthetics, so for the first apartment I rent, I chose white painted dinning table from a local brand doing classical furnitures with a twist. I discovered noticeable scratches on my table after a year. The reflective white paint indeed doesn't age well.Lately she has been filming in her own home, in the living room. I don't want to use the word "new money" because it sounds judgmental and also because Aija uses it. I would say some of the people chose that "tacky" aesthetics intentionally because they worked hard for their wealth and they feel proud of what they have done. Fashion houses such as Balmain and Versace have this type of aesthetics. I think their clothes look amazing on the right people. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.Yes, looks like this will be the background for the rest of the pandemic.
It seems like she's going for the GiorgioCollection aesthetic, something like their Vogue line, which incorporates a lot of crystals etc. Kid of bling style for the Arab clientele. So I wouldn't necessarily say cheap, but it can be expensive and tacky at the same time. I've seen many UHNWs with a horrible taste for interiors, mostly new money or from certain cultures/countries, so this room isn't that bad at all, it just looks like a standard furniture showroom and lacks soul.
Good point. If you're flashy, own it - to each their own. I'm more than happy to hear your insights & ideas regarding the terminology. By saying new money, I meant the flashy type of new money like Phillip Plein constantly showing off the abundance to the point that it's questionable, by all means not all self-made people who are proud of their success and hard work.I agree with the dark hardwood furniture. I noticed most of my wealthy family friend who prefer pastels for interior would choose to use light colored table cloth for their dining table.

The problem I have with Aija is that she herself is this aggressive and flashy type, but she's trying to paint a picture that she's not and bashes the people who are honest with their desires as "nouveau riche", and she's also profiting from that.
Dark wood vs white furniture depends on cultural context and of course personal taste. In Scandinavia white minimalist furniture (not Ikea) is often a sign of wealth. Dark wood is often stuffy and outdated unless it is real antique. Not to mention, these furnitures are tasteless too, like her sense of style. I really think it's beyond money wether its new or old. It's a matter of taste and having what we call "the eye" (having a natural gift of assembling beautiful things with each other) these are things that you either have or you don't. Just like elegance in my opinion you can't learn it, you can learn to act like it/fake it but if you don't have it, you just don't.I agree with the dark hardwood furniture. Exactly. Money cannot buy good taste. Sometimes you see photos of lottery winners’ houses that are decorated with lots of money but with poor taste. They look like child’s or Trump’s interpretation of what it is to be rich. The little we can see of Lina Hadid’s place you can tell she has money and taste. Admittedly her taste is a bit quirky but there is a sense of freedom that comes with money and knowledge of the arts.I really think it's beyond money wether its new or old. My life is funny because I grew up in an old money family that lost their money xD I had many friends from wealthy backgrounds and also friends or family members that were broke but still managed to look really nice and put together on a budget. I very much remember one of my friends who came to school wearing designer clothes from head to toe but paired in such a horrible way like yellow and neon green and orange and red all together xD and she was from old money too... another one was very classy despite being new money and her sister was the flashy one. Now I made my own wealth again so I am "new money" but I go very BCBG with a modern twist. I think we should drop such assumptions that taste comes from money and just make it individual. Anna has no taste we saw that but many other women who made it by marriying rich guys have good taste despite their not so wealthy background.
Still more style than Anna.Yo! This is gold
It doesn't surprise me. There's an old Pinterest account which used to have many boards of said jetset women. Now it seems the boards are deleted or made private, but we can still see a few remaining bandage dresses that she forgot to deleteIf you notice all the small small details from her pics ... lols .., her apt style is “Pinterest board chic”
Nothing more than that.
