I just think she’s asking for trouble and misbehaviour from boredom when she’s in school and miles ahead of her peers - she seems obsessed with having a perfect child ready for reception who doesn’t need any help from a teacher.

You'd think she'd see this all the time in reception, pushy parents who say their kid can count up to 427 but can't even accurately give 7 pencils over 🥲 its all for show. Guarantee that when she does start school that she says she's bored and not pushed enough.

Sleep. She probably doesn't like R sleeping as its wasted time when she could be forced to learn.

Her approach is the complete opposite of what early years teaching is about. You're meant to deepen their knowledge within the areas, not just keep extending upwards to things that you'd be asking year 1 children to do. R will not have any thorough understanding of anything she's learnt due to her mums approach.

Some of the things she does are considered awful practice in eyfs as well and how inexperienced she is tbh.

Ive had to unfollow her as shit really rubs me up the wrong way. I do still enjoy the updates on here tho lol!

I’m close to unfollowing her and just winging activities, her story about a new car and looking at range rovers felt quite braggy the other day. I don’t know if that’s just me?

It might just be me but I do find it weird she gets things with her characters from films but she apparently hasn't seen them?! Especially for characters from Frozen that there isn't an actual book for?!


Slight detail but I also I find it weird when kids wear clothing branded with superheros or characters from films/tv shows thet haven't ever watched or probably too young to watch.

Because “she’s still a little bit small” in Emma’s words. Basically it’s so Emma has control. All very strange when on the other hand she wants her to be much older and doing actual school work.

I had a look at her followers and it looks like quite a few are bots. Not sure if how you can tell if she buys them. I've seen on Lauren goodger thread you can see a report or gained and lost followers. Anyone able to tell me how to see?

So I hadn’t heard of her until you guys mentioned her but I had a look and a lot of what I saw was not my cup of tea. Lots of closed ended activities for wee ones, a letter activity for a child who has just turned 2 (if I read it correctly!) and also noticed there are a lot of pictures of the activities set up but not many of how they turned out … which kind makes me think her kid doesn’t engage that well in them.

ETA: letter recognition activities for her kid at 18months?! That’s a no from me.

Yes which is funny because she always goes on about doing open ended stuff only!

literally placed her in the 3-4 age room at nursery even though she’s just turned 2.5 - she would sit at a chair at nursery. I feel like this is all about control. I can’t imagine her letting R run riot.

Watching Disney films is so magical at this age!
Perhaps instead she has R writing scripts for them to submit to Disney instead.
