I don't understand the constant and sudden race for Hermes... how can you fully enjoy and appreciate the item when you're just vying for the next one all the time, all just to flex? Super inauthentic to me.

I agree. I don’t think any normal person (a person not obsessed with consumption for clicks) would find any joy out of getting 2+ Super bags within a 4-6 month time span.
I’m patiently waiting for my first wish bag (Kelly 28 Sellier) and I can’t imagine wanting to buy a Birkin or another Kelly right after I get my first one. I really like to have at least one bag from each major fashion house and a few seasonal bags from Chanel (fun colors or materials to keep things fresh) prior to the insane price increases of 2019 and beyond.

And start adding the $30k she’s spent on clothes, shoes, non-bag accessories AFTER her vouchers and discounts this year. I think I read somewhere that she makes over $200k a year as a blogger/influencer. If she’s not paying a mortgage, and she got a deal on her car lease, she’s sitting pretty.
A NYC-based technical project manager (Marco) is likely be clearing around $110k+. Between his salary and all of her paid partnerships, they’re financially doing well. Imagine if she only bought one Hermes and put the rest towards their home????
This made me wonder what station is her home station in NJ?! Why would you need someone to pick you up rather than drive and park your own car? Clearly not a saThis and all the Lexus car loans! Why are they giving her a car to take to the Hamptons when she never drives it and neither of them have anything of value to say about the car/performance/specs?! She can’t talk about the driving experience when she’s never even sat behind the wheel, and I doubt anyone is looking to these two posers for opinions and reviews before buying one.
I doubt she could even afford a Lexus, considering she had to loan the Audi that she barely drives either

She didn't buy it. She got it for free OR paid next to nothing for it due to her collab from a German reseller who doesn't realize she won't get any business from Alyssa's followers. lol! At this point you have to giggle at the companies who collab with her. Honestly. Also, SacLab is NOT any different re prices. Alyssa trying to be a good little marketeer must think people don't do cross comparisons. They're extortionate for anyone BUT an influencer. <eyeroll> Side note: There is a 3"+ scratch on the bottom front of the bag. Have fun with that. Epsom leather is THE WORST with scratches. They never come out.
But in exciting news, Alyssa can style it for her trips into NYC, the mall in NJ or (my personal fav) the NJ food courts she and Marco frequent while they live that lux (ROFL) life.

I just want to say for everyone who doesn't live in a major city - $300K/year combined income is not a lot of money. There is a reason Alyssa and Marco are forever eating at the local mall's food court.

You've made some great points, most of Alyssa's followers are either college students or career women. But no one in their right mind is going to be willing to spend $14k+ on a bag so quickly. Additionally, I don't even think her influencer counterparts have spent that much on a bag as much as she has
How many cream coats does she have? I never understood influencers loving cream, beige and wood tones. From clothing to home interiors, it looks like influencers are being too much obsessed with Pinterest, it's wiping them out of identity and integrity.
I am also tired of Alyssa, and every other basic blogger, mentioned Daniel Lee leaving Bottega. Um, exactly what does Alyssa own of Bottega anymore? All her previous Bottega items were gifted and she sold them all to fund her current Hermes infatuation. This goes in line with her posts about Phoebe Philo, another designer of whom she owns nothing but because ppl in the fashion world are obsessed w her, Alyssa needed to jump on that boat as well.

It’s not rare in ethnic families to have a big age gap between the eldest and youngest child (my cousin is 30 and has a 13 year old brother, parents are in their 60s) so I just assumed that was the situation.

Of course, a new house is the next step. Honestly, it is cookie cutter for any IG influencer with around 200K followers. Get a new place so you can have a year or so of sponsored content before ... "OMG we're pregnant and like JUST starting trying!". It's so predictable. Looking forward to another home purchased with 5% down which will likely look just like Claire Chanelle's home because none of these women have a mind of their own.

Isn’t it just ridiculous? That house was really nice and a fine size for a young couple, but of course it’s too small for her hoard.
she mustve had massive cc debt aside from student loans as mentioned in her video. I mean it took her more than 6 years to finish her associates degree.
