I wouldn't call them pop; I've heard some people calling them Symphonic Metal.
Definitely symphonic metal - I'm a big fan!

Seen the most: Devin Townsend, Rammstein, Fear Factory, Korn, Slipknot, Metallica

Best: Devin Townsend, Rammstein, Black Sabbath, Wednesday 13, Korn, Buckcherry, Static X (both with Wayne and a very respectful reunion with Xero)

Seeing next: Within Temptation & Evanescence

I dont really have any stories of encounters with bands, despite my OH having used to play in a band on the local circuit.
Back in the day I used to frequent the local university students union and saw all kinds of bands there, and I used to go to Download every year but havent been for a few years now.

Favourite band right now has got to be Bandmaid!
Constantly playing their new album Conqueror which is amazing!

Here's a great song of theirs from their 2nd full album World Domination if you want to listen.

Ahhhh I love Corey in Stone Sour. He has to have one of the most gorgeous voices in metal.

Question....
What band 'should' you like, but you can't get on board with?

Mine is probably Iron Maiden... Appreciate what they do and have done for the genre but I just can't listen to their music AT all.

Ryan Adams is my absolute favourite singer. Did you see all the shit that came out about him being abusive to his exes?

I saw slipknot last month on London too!

I figure that I'm a Classic Metal fan; there's not many bands these days I can say I like.

One band I wish I'd seen live was Pantera. They were majestic in their day.

RIP Vinnie & Dimebag
I never saw Pantera live, but I did see Hellyeah a couple of times, who were brilliant.

Just remembered meeting Terrorvision back in '94! Now that was fun! Ended up near the backstage area drinking beer with them until they had to go on, they were on the same show as Dave Navarro era RHCP.

ooh Rammstein gossip! Have you all seen Till's porn video(s)? It is...interesting.

I've been a massive Rammstein fan since Mütter, but first saw them live in 2010 when I was pregnant, then again last year in Bern. Heading to Berlin to see them this year.
Saw Slipknot last week as well, not a huge fan, but had a brilliant time.

OH THE SCANDAL!!

Haven't watched them(I'm more of an Emigrate fan), but for a fandom that went on about seeing Little Till, half of it sure got offended by finally seeing it.

My favourite band in the world is Avenged Sevenfold. Only seen them once , but that was at the 100 club so super intimate. Anyone else a fan?

Lol yes I've seen them, but nothing about that man shocks me now!
I remember being surprised when I heard that his ex wife and mother of his daughter also had a child to Richard Z Kruspe, and then I fell down the Till rabbit hole and nothing is a surprise lol

Khira-Li?

She's adorable, I follow her on IG. Have you seen RZK son, Merlin Besson? Carbon copy of his dad!

Yes, it is very funny how people are having total meltdowns and saying they are heartbroken, as if he had no idea what the reaction would be. I have watched them (a few times haha) but it's pretty grim really.

EXACTLY!

This is what Till and Rammstein do; push the boundaries. I've seen some of the videos, and I think the grim vibe was exactly what he was going for.

Yassssssss me too would love to know what actually happened. Heard on the grape vine it had something to do with guy le tattooer but might be rubbish
from what I understand/have read... Oli was always going behind her back anyway but because she was quite young and seemingly doing everything to keep appearances - when she was getting her body suit done by Guy le Tattooer he showed her something she wasn’t getting at home and they ended up sleeping together which resulted in being a full relationship behind Oli’s back and then Hannah moved to live with him in France following the separation. However, Guy is also known for just sleeping with everybody, especially female clients which is why he seems to have various very besotted clients who are doing full body suits. When he and Hannah were seemingly ‘together’ a few of them stopped and the girls had posted online that their ‘journey had come to an end’, it was bizarre - almost cult like. I do feel for Hannah but she did cheat on her boyfriend to get with Oli so it’s just a messy, vicious cycle.

I've been rediscovering Alice In Chains lately. Loved them, and Mother Love Bone. Ooh, and Soundgarden!

Ahh taking it right back.
I grew up listening to Sound Garden...good memories.
Although I preferred Chris Cornell in Audioslave

I once met Jeff Ament when Pearl Jam first played Ireland. One of my mates dared me to ask him for a kiss. His reply?

"I'm sorry, but I don't kiss on the first date."

It's the nicest refusal I've ever had!
