Anyone listening to Planet Rocks top 500 ?
I think I prefer the listeners choices to the station. I hope they take this onboard and I never have to listen to Baba OReilly or Horse with no Name again !

No surprises as the top 10! Apart from Alter Bridge but we’ll happy Blackbird was up there!
But I’m with you hope they change the playlist up a bit, have enjoyed the different tracks they’ve been playing!

Quite surprised to see Kris Barras band and Those Damn Crows so far up the list, they don't seem to be particularly known or iconic bands or songs to be up that high?

They get played a bit on there though maybe younger listeners who don’t know a lot of older stuff? Would be interesfed to see how many votes each song got especially the 4-500 ones! Florence Black was the most obscure one for me as they are pretty unknown though pretty good!

Absolutely love the Crows. We’ve seen them progress from venues that hold 500 people to headlining festivals.
Their latest album got to No 1

Wow Metallica was amazing in Cardiff. Good seats but the merch stands were impossible unless you wanted to wait at least 30 mins to be served. I only got one top as they were running out of sizes in a lot of things and nothing really turned my eye.
Coach was delayed on the way to Cardiff so didn’t get much time to hang around as literally got to the stadiums at 4:15. Watched knocked loose and gojira and enjoyed both (gojira was the better one though) I could appreciate both support acts
Then Metallica ❤ I need to go again but can’t do the London dates. Hopefully they come back again in a few years as it was an amazing show.
Got home around 2:30am and I’ve had 3 hours sleep and I’m dead 🙃

I went too, was awesome! I was very metal though, and back in my hotel room sipping a peppermint tea by 10.45. 😇

They were SO SO good! I've got the post-gig sadness now though. Nothing to look forward to - at least you still have things to come!

Did anyone see MCR at Wembley? If so, did you find the sound quality to be appalling? Could barely make out anything Gerard said between the songs, and the sounds was really bassy. I saw people complaining about it after the first night, and hoped it would be different by night 3.

Loved the show but I would never see a band at Wembley again if that's what its generally like. I don't think it was a band issue, more of a stadium issue as there were no issues at Anfield or Glasgow.

I didnt but last time I went to Wembley was Linkin Park and they sounded fine. But Spiritbox I couldnt really make out (yes its screamy music anyway but you know what I mean!) I find alot of the time the support act is abit of a warm up to getting the sound right and by the time the main comes on its fine. Also depends on seating. I know higher up people can complain about sound quality. I always try to get in the lower/middle sections for concerts (think we were in the 100s maybe 113 for LP)
I find arenas where the roof is closed the best for sounds as it all stays in. Ive loved the sound of anything Ive seen at cardiff principality or the o2 in london.
Although saying that, Gojira and Knocked Loose in cardiff werent the clearest for me, I couldnt tell you what songs they were singing
