The amount of money she spends is shocking! It's just constant. Why would you want to get yourself in so much debt? How would you pay it off?
I wonder if she comes from money? Someone here mentioned that she was privately educated. I know that does not equate to a wealth but we all know private education isn’t cheap!

Then why did her husband go bankrupt in a previous job if they have money

Laura really does seem to wake up each morning & challenge herself to spent as much money as possible before bedtime.
Which, ok, if you’ve got it, fair enough… but as said above her husband was bankrupt?!
But also, she does seem to spend money on the most ridiculous things. Redecorating so soon is just plain burning cash.
Nice dress for ascot… but how much will this hat cost? I’m guessing £500-£1000??
Portrait of the ponies
And in her recent stories she is saying how nice it is to get dressed up for something!
And what? Paris wasn’t getting dressed up? Or the holiday before that?
She really seems to be living in a world of her own.
Personally I like her home & most of her style.
But think she wastes an awful lot of money.

Anyone know anything about her Dad, he’s never mentioned?
I was wondering the same myself. He mustn’t be in her life. I’m assuming he didn’t pass away though as she doesn’t even mention him in a nostalgic sense, or about the boys’ grandfather, or anything. It’s like he doesn’t even exist. But she mentions mAmA pReTtY at least once a week 🥴

The husband was never bankrupt, one of his companies was insolvent and was wound up owing some money. Looks like they own or part own a Subway franchise which I'm sure brings in the money. Not sure if he still works as an accountant. (Covid grants could have been very generous.)

I also believe that Laura's Instagram brings in a huge amount of income. I've seen in other forums that for her level of followers, she could be making around £10k per ad if it's a large company and her fake flarrr business seems to have taken off.

Laura-Ad is sickly sweet but at least she has a USP that isn't her kids, although they're still shown, they aren't the main product.

Absolutely not! I can usually be found over on the Blossoming birds threads because she's local to me and I often see her out in the wild (or the Ingham family thread but that's a whole other level) .

I was just correcting the bankruptcy comment so that tattle isn't accused of making things up. I'm not saying that insolvency is any better than bankruptcy, either way other people end up out of pocket. I also thought it wasn't appropriate to show the building of a huge house while creditors were going unpaid but then you never know what deals go on behind the scenes of a business being wound up.

I don't give a toss about the instafloggers selling a lifestyle, if that's how they chose to make their money, then fair play to them - for me, no amount of money could buy my privacy and dignity. My bugbear on insta is the selling of children, Laura has scaled back on this compared to Anna so I don't really criticise her too much, Anna on the other hand...

I'll need to check blossoming birds out. I've heard of her but haven't seen her before now.

I unfollowed her ages ago. She’s just popped up on my insta on a paid for trip to Disneyland Paris. This is where insta really pisses me off.

they could afford that trip without breaking a sweat. I’d think much more of everyone involved if that trip had been offered to a single parent, or a frontline worker and their family. Not Laura Ann and her picture perfect, middle class family.

Absolutely, whilst many families are struggling with higher energy prices and increased bills everywhere it is frustrating to see middle class ladies being gifted free holidays, clothes etc that they don't need

Privately educated in Northern Ireland isn’t expensive at all. It’s not even remotely similar to private schools in England/Scotland. I’d say she’s pretty middle class, her grammar is atrocious

Where did she go? I don’t think she was privately educated, and she isn’t middle class, she only aspires to be

Oh thank you. I didn’t know that.

I actually commented once her parents should ask for money back as her spelling and grammar are just terrible.

I sort of hate follow LA. I like her house (sorry, it's mostly my style, what can I say) (I'll add that the kitchen is awful, could have been done way nicer) but I really dislike how she spends money like it's absolutely nothing. Even small things like her belts are >£300. Crazy.

But then again, maybe I am jealous. I work so hard to buy myself nice things and to earn a treat, but she just acts like they appear out of the blue, not even a 'oh I know this is pricey but I work hard (eye roll) so why not'. I'd prefer it more if she didn't pretend like her lifestyle is normal, I think.
