Just went on Self Portrait, and there are so many better options that fit her parameters and Ascot’s rules. I don’t get her.

Money can't buy classShe’s unpacking her cosmetics order and I am howling when she is showing her YSL mascara…..the way she says “Saint Laurent”…..she didn’t even attempt the “Yves”….she’s a disaster! Reminds me of her post a while ago about St Tropez tan!Thick as mince!
Had to go and listen back to this when I read and actually face palmed, mortified for her. She’s unpacking her cosmetics order and I am howling when she is showing her YSL mascara…..the way she says “Saint Laurent”…..she didn’t even attempt the “Yves”….she’s a disaster! Are the family staying with them or staying somewhere else?Laura Ann says she had family over from Scotland but I saw the 5 of them walking alone in Hillsborough Park yesterday lol
I called it a few months back that the redecoration of the bathroom would be imminent. You're spot on.
When she was in the old house she wasn't near as bad. Since the move to the country she seems to have become an overdone cliche of what she thinks "country life" should be like for the grid.
And the ever growing list of things that she overdid in the house that she rolled back on. The ridiculous floral bed in the master bedroom looks to have been replaced (I thought it was a spare room at first) the "wardrobe" fridge that looked ridiculous in the kitchen. The floral stair carpet (which I actually liked) replaced by a generic striped (overpriced) runner. And there's probably more that we haven't seen. I'd say next for the chop is the bathroom with the over the top floral wallpaper.
That's before you even look at her wardrobe of impractical, unstylish and downright frumpy outfits that get trotted out for maybe one wear only as they were probably gifted.
And now she has swapped out the oak kitchen counter tops for quartzI saw that and remembered someone here had predicted that. It’s bizarre to me that she is already redoing things in a house that new! In the past three years we’ve just started updating finishes in our 20+-year-old house.
I think she’s jumped the shark from relatable to “aspirational”… or she’s aspiring to.
I think she is definitely trying to appear little more modern and gradually removing herself of the whole chintz granny floral image. And now she has swapped out the oak kitchen counter tops for quartz
I would imagine there is a huge debt accumulating somewhere. The husband certainly owes money.I think she is definitely trying to appear little more modern and gradually removing herself of the whole chintz granny floral image.
I mean that’s ok, we all grow and change our tastes, but what’s really astonishing is at the disposable income she must have to be able to just replace stuff that was not cheap in a first place and change her mind after such short period of time.
Money must grow on trees where she is!
