Envious nope! I am single mum to two kids too & very happily remaining single right now so I can devote my life to them and on my sustainable career path. I know where I stand from one week to the next and so do my children unlike Alice’s poor two. I’m angry on their behalf, not envious. It makes me sick to see a mother so careless with their lives! She didn’t even mention them while they were gone did she? Couldn’t even pretend she gave a shit while she was having her summer romance, so there’s no way she’s stopped and considered how this new situation will affect them.

Maybe it’ll work out, he’s clearly as deluded as she is. They’re perfect for each other!

Actually, the more I think about it the more I smell a rat. To move her kids she would have to get their dad’s permission. All this Instagram luvvies saying congrats etc. Maybe they’re all in on it. My friend confirms that not a word of this has been mentioned on her personal FB account. Think about it, when you’re looking for something like someone to take over your tenancy you go to local real life friends first (ie Fb Friends) not the public on Instagram don’t you? Things just don’t add up somewhere.

I genuinely couldn’t envy a divorced 34 year old with two kids who was clearly just hanging out for the next sugar daddy. I’ve managed to stay married and happy for 19 years so far, she’s just an absolute embarrassment who will jump from one old semi-rich bloke to the next.

The mum at 24, single mum at 27 thing. It’s far, far from special. If that was 14, 16 and 17 then I could see why she’d want to tell her story but so many people become single parents in their teens, don’t have help from sugar daddies or rich parents. Her level of privilege is appalling.
