Thinking about it, in my class at school, it was a girl with incredibly skinny legs that got called names. Stronger looking, average sized girls were generally good at sport and ‘respected’ if you like, for that. Tell us something we didn't already know! She has cashed in mercilessly on her vulnerable following and find it hilarious that she's turned down deals but happily took the exercise mirror and happily advertised it all through January when she knew people would be having body confidence issues post Christmas.

Let's call her what she is.. She's a calculated manipulative self serving sales person who is happily cashing in under the guise of being body positive.

Yeah half the parents at that school were footballers anyway.. it was hardly something thrown around as an insult, more so just a standard! But she was not bullied for her body type anyway. In fact, not bullied at all. They were all lovely girls with nice respectable parents. Nobody had a problem with them how any of them looked or acted it’s just wild she’s said that!

I found this story hard to believe, as she looks to me like she has quite slim legs now and holds her weight in the middle so when she was younger I doubt she’d have that muscly legs, well enough for people to comment on anyway. But then you know, that wouldn’t fit in with her narrative!

Yeah when she was little she was literally bang average weight for a child. If anything I would say she was verging on the slimmer side of average, certainly not bigger than! It’s just an outright lie. I feel ashamed for her. She’s either turned into a liar or her mind is so warped she doesn’t know she’s lying. Neither one is great

even the way that caption is worded sounds odd - like, "there was a running joke
in school"? it's written as though her legs were so unusually muscular that everyone in the entire school was aware of her - as opposed to implying that a couple of classmates made a passing comment.

she's implying that her legs were so different in their appearance than anyone else's that the whole school was talking about how "chunky" they were seems incredibly dramatic. unless she went to a tiny school, i very much doubt that every student in her school knew who she was - or if they did, i doubt it was due to her "footballer legs".

and it's interesting that it's entirely untrue - just a story she's fabricated to fit with an ad she's doing for Gillette and normalising the appearance of "real skin" and connecting it to women's football and the recent Euros win etc - makes you wonder what else she totally makes up to appear "relatable" and imply she has a personal connection with whatever brand or campaign.

It's pretty sickening that she is potentially lying to this extent in order to bag big campaigns ..I notice her awful fake mate Em don't mention I'm Jeremy Clarksons daughter is also part of it all too...wonder what her emotive sales pitch was !

She donated affiliate link money to charity if I remember correctly but absolutely no mention of her doing that for a long long time. She cleverly built up her followers off the back of nice gestures like that, one of the reasons I followed her, plus her content was real and interesting. All it is now is regurgitated information usually with her as the star of it all plus constant ads along with undeclared ads for her clothing company. The pretending to involve her followers in the choosing of colours for her next clothing sale, all to raise engagement when I've no doubt the clothes are already being made, if not made already!

And her fringe ? Is she soo self absorbed that she thinks people are invested in her fringe ?

Don’t post often on here but came to say the stories about people commenting negatively on her question box about coming of Prozac really pissed me off. You can’t ask a question and then witch about the replies.

i also feel kind of worried about her - she looks really anxious and not very well. She needs to speak to an actual doctor Not her Instagram stories :/

I initially found her content and perspective interesting even purchasing her book.

However recently I have become quite frustrated at her very confusing and often at times erratic narrative.

Like many, I have found her very frank story of how she is coming off anti- depressants alarming. Alex isn’t a medical professional and I feel quite concerned at this drip feeding fast food medical advice on Insta stories with very limited background stories.

Fast forward to today and she’s now explaining the side effects. Has asked for feedback on how long these will last. Many of her followers have provided accurate honest feedback and then seeing Alex’s response…She’s not happy.

It’s not what she what’s to hear and she’s straight back into attack mode that people aren’t being supportive. Well actually they are responding to your request Alex. You asked for feedback, they’ve provided it. Your 500k followers aren’t mind readers. It’s always on her terms.

Many of those people responding aren’t trolls, they are sharing their story. Do you really want them to lie?

There is now a massive rant against her followers and then switches to talking about her fringe. Really?!

I’ve stopped listening to their podcast, her constant negativity is frustrating. Alex never sees the good in anything. I’m surprised Em Clarkson puts up with it.

I’m pissed off too. Her lack of emotional intelligence about an incredibly sensitive issue. I’m absolutely shocked at her reaction. It’s how she attacks but tries to justify as a ‘rant’.
