Yes that’s what she said. I reckon that is probably the truth, but I think a part of her enjoys that side effect and it’s messed with her head. And she’s dressing in baggy clothes to hide the weight loss. She did say she is losing weight because of a new medication following a diagnosis. Assume its ADHD meds which are stimulants. She said she was upset people were messaging her about her weight loss.
it's so easy to fall back into disordered eating, and unintentional weight loss can be a huge trigger - especially if people were commenting in her weight loss. so even if she initially lost weight as a result of her new meds, it's exactly that kinda of situation that an eating disorder will take advantage of, because the feeling you get from losing weight is addictive - and before you realise you've released, it's too late. it's a huge part of recovery that you need to be aware of potential triggers, and the fact that there's always the possibility the eating disorder will creep it's way back in. she's obviously struggling, and i hope she acknowledges that and gets the support she needs now, rather than delaying it and allowing the illness to spiral, but she needs to step away from IG while she focuses on her recovery and gets herself back on track - not only for her sake, but for the safety of her followers. she knows damn well the impact this will have on her vulnerable audience and she needs to take responsibility for that. struggling with an eating disorder is not an excuse to place other people at risk.Yes that’s what she said. And it's all the pictures she's been uploading recently of herself, all pictures that are posed in a certain way with captions which could be misinterpreted...she knows a lot of vulnerable people follow her, to do what she is doing knowingly is soo wrong.it's so easy to fall back into disordered eating, and unintentional weight loss can be a huge trigger - especially if people were commenting in her weight loss. so even if she initially lost weight as a result of her new meds, it's exactly that kinda of situation that an eating disorder will take advantage of, because the feeling you get from losing weight is addictive - and before you realise you've released, it's too late. it's a huge part of recovery that you need to be aware of potential triggers, and the fact that there's always the possibility the eating disorder will creep it's way back in. she's obviously struggling, and i hope she acknowledges that and gets the support she needs now, rather than delaying it and allowing the illness to spiral, but she needs to step away from IG while she focuses on her recovery and gets herself back on track - not only for her sake, but for the safety of her followers. she knows damn well the impact this will have on her vulnerable audience and she needs to take responsibility for that. struggling with an eating disorder is not an excuse to place other people at risk.![]()
In her post yesterday where she said she said her outfit matches her mood, she is sucking in her cheeks which I found bizarreAnd it's all the pictures she's been uploading recently of herself, all pictures that are posed in a certain way with captions which could be misinterpreted...she knows a lot of vulnerable people follow her, to do what she is doing knowingly is soo wrong.

Yeah I thought the same and I didn't recognise her at first either. It's always the same when someone else takes a picture of youAnyone see the pics of her that Em Clarkson posted? She looks so different to her (now obviously edited and filtered ) own pictures that she posts. I didn't recognize her at first.

yeah, it's one thing mentioning that you take antidepressants, because it's something that that needs to be normalised in the way that taking any other necessary medication isn't surrounded by stigma and misconceptions - but she went way beyond simply saying that she has been taking antidepressants for a while, and is trying to stop taking them. that was all the details that were necessary - the long, dramatic story dragged out over five stores, with details about the specific meds she's been prescribed and the dosages etc was not needed, and is absolutely irresponsible to share on such a huge platform when she knows many of her followers are vulnerable and could easily fall into the trap of making comparisons and deciding they "aren't sick enough" because they have never been prescribed specific medications, or because they were prescribed lower doses etc - because that is exactly the way mental illness, and especially eating disorders, works. it's entirely unforgivable, because Alex knows all this, and her current relapse doesn't excuse her decision to share content which places her vulnerable audience at risk.I think it's very irresponsible and dangerous posting anything involving anti depressants especially when so many that follow her are vulnerable. Why she feels this need to overshare such personal information is baffling ...her need for attention has completely overtaken all common sense it would seem...
I literally just came here to say the same .. so she hasn't bought them and the boots were uncomfortable but I want to cash in on them anyway ! She's really is just one big sell out now!
Yep. Her diet culture posts are forced and copied from oversaturated content and she tries to put on this front that she’s not like everyone else, but at the end of the day they’re all the same. Would sell their mum for a quick buck.I literally just came here to say the same .. so she hasn't bought them and the boots were uncomfortable but I want to cash in on them anyway ! I didn't even think of that but have done now thanks. Absolutely disgusting. Please report that to the ASA @girl1980 (if you haven’t already) - it’s missing the crucial “AD” and obscuring the “aff” like that is also not adhering the rules.
and a reminder that influencers make 5-11% commission of anything you buy from that retailer for the next 30 days once you click that link. It’s big business for them (huge), it’s really not asking much for influencers to declare it fairly.
"oh, i don't think i can do this!" - you'd think she was doing something HUGE, the way she's dramatising the situation - but nope, simply whinging that she can't cut a hair bobble out of her tangled hair. bleeping first world problems! The ditzy blonde act is getting old too ...she's in her mid 30s, putting rubber bands in your thin dry hair is never sensible but what is worse is her pretending she can't get the band out when she clearly hasn’t even tried! All very odd behaviour, not remotely amusing!
And is she seriously on the beg for a designer denim jacket? Awful woman
