I was considering the double air fryer from Aldi. I already own a mini one from there that I bought in Jan 2024 and I’m happy with it, but wouldn’t mind a 2 drawer. Anyway, the dimensions are neither on the website or on the box, so I had to go into store with a measuring tape and guesstimate once all the polystyrene is removed. Why would they do that?!
Unfortunately, it’s too tall for my kitchen counter 😢
I got the tiny one a few years ago. It fit a ready meal in and could make brilliant boiled eggs (without water).
I'm keeping it for travelling.

Aldi's new Moser Roth smooth praline bars are phenomenal! They have white, milk and dark versions, and I can heartily recommend the white and the milk. It just tastes good quality - most chocolate tastes pretty crap to me these days (I feel like I can really taste certain oils/emulsifiers) and I couldn't stop eating these ones.

The ‘pigs with blankets’ crisps are so good! I like frazzles, but they are salty. These aren’t. 😋

My Aldi was packed full of the Disney toys today. I’ve already bought my girls Disney stuff for Christmas so I resisted! They do have lots of craft stuff in at the minute though which I did get to keep the kids amused.

tried the wine of the week and was pleasantly surprised! It was a French white (can’t remember what) nice and easy drinking :)

I got the Princess Jasmine wooden book box thing, I thought it was excellent value for £12.99, it has 68 pieces compared to 18 in the other princesses. I debated for ages about some of the other bits but like you have bought lots of Disney already so resisted.

I loved the look of them but knew for me personally it would be a waste of £12.99 as I’ve gone to town on Disney already and they already have a lot of the items in different sets. Mind you mine didn’t have any Jasmine ones, it was Belle, Rapunzel and Snow White. If they reduce any more I’d be tempted!

@Penguin2022 This is it.. Freezer section.

SO bloody nice xx
My 3 year old will thank you 🙏

Yeah the others didn’t seem great value, very cute not a lot of substance. My store has so much of the Bluey stuff left that im sure it’s going to get reduced so I’ll be checking in every few days!

Talking of which, the Halloween stuff was all 99p today, including the PJs and outdoor lights - I bought a couple of the light up witches hats and the legs sticking out of the ground.

I had the Tandoori chicken loaded naan for lunch and can definitely recommend it! It's cold and raining outside, so I heated it up in the microwave while I put the rest of the shopping away and it was delicious. I had to open it up and rearrange the filling a little bit as all the chicken was mainly in the middle, but for £1.99 you can't really go wrong!

I mainly went in to try and get the soft set scotch eggs from the Oakhurst gastro range (managed to get the last box on the shelf!) and saw the black forest double crumble, so picked that up too. Watch me hate them after everyone here has hyped them up so much 😅)

There wasn't much chicken in the one I bought. Really tasty though

Whether drowning in gravy or served plain and crisp, Yorkshire puddings remain a key component of a roast dinner - but not all are created equal.

Shoppers need not worry, however, as consumer giant Which? has scoured UK supermarkets to reveal the best of the bunch - though they may be surprised to learn it's not Aunt Bessie's.

Which? recruited 74 people and ran a blind taste test to rank seven own-label frozen puds from the country's major chains, including Aldi, Asda, Sainsbury's and Tesco, as well as best-loved brand Aunt Bessie's.

Yorkshire puddings were assessed for flavour, appearance, texture and aroma, while size and price were also taken into account.

Claiming the top overall spot as the panel's preferred product was Aldi Specially Selected Large Beef Dripping Yorkshire Puddings, priced at £1.99 for 288g (pack of six).

Receiving an impressive score of 73 per cent, Aldi's Yorkshires were also named a Best Buy and, as the joint cheapest, earnt a Great Value award from Which? as well.

The budget supermarket's puds were praised for their outside, which had a 'good, crisp bite', while the inside was said to be 'fluffy and soft without being overly moist.'

They were also credited for their appearance, with 72 per cent of tasters describing the colour as 'just right'.

Really liking the look of some of the new candles coming to Aldi tomorrow.
Can I be bothered to get up early, so I can get to Aldi before I have to start work? 😅

Edit: Here's a link to the online leaflet if anyone wants to see the rest of the candles/specialbuys for this week

Did it give off much scent? I bought one of those giant chocolate orange candles the other week and i actually want to eat it 😂 I’ve always been disappointed with their candles previously.

I've heard that a few times over different threads that people find the Aldi candles hit or miss, but I have had good luck with them. I usually go for the medium sized glass ones and they always seem to have a good throw, but our flat isn't massive, so that probably helps 😅 The pumpkin pie one I got a month or so ago was lush! I was hoping they were going to do the pumpkin spice wax melts again this year because they were good too (although I have way too many wax melts, so it's probably a good thing they didn't come back this year 😂)
