I was really impressed with the Hotel Vanilla Pumpkin reed diffuser - it's still going strong under the stairs! I'll give the festive reed diffusers a go, if I can get any.

I got Mr Duck to wake me up at 6am, but then decided going to Aldi at 7am was crazy, so stayed in bed with the cat and caught up on Grey's Anatomy 😅

I'm so glad I did, because I just went down there during my lunch break to find not a single candle anywhere 🤣 There weren't even any empty bins where it looked like the staff just hadn't put them out yet, all of the specialbuy bins were full, just not with candles 😭 I would have been so pissed if I'd had got there for 7, only to find pajamas, Chrismas jumpers and slippers 😂

I keep seeing the Aldi dupes of Baileys.. Now Im very common and never had a Baileys before  I tried a Pina Colada for the first time this year and its was awful and I had to waste it - apart from the one sip I had! As im not a fan of milky/creamy drinks is it a No? I dont want to buy one and hate it and then no one drinks it!
Im much more a cocktail/vodka girl!

I find the Aldi candles and diffusers really good, never had a duff one. Lidl ones have always been useless for me though…

If you don’t like milky or creamy drinks then it’s definitely not for you. Baileys to me is just boozy milk 😂

Same, I have a sweet tooth but I'm not a fan of creamy drinks like Bailey's and prefer cocktails and flavoured gin liqueur etc

I went into the Aldi where people climb over you today. I was dreading it, but it was surprisingly empty, so I had a chance to have a proper look.
I've had the cauliflower cheese from the new Oakhurst range tonight. The cauli was a bit undercooked but still nice. I've also got the galette which I'll have tomorrow with the remainder of the cauliflower cheese.
I put the garlic mushrooms and focaccia from this range in the freezer. It all looked really nice, and the veg selection looked fresher than what you get in Marks and Spencers on these kinds of offers. I don't think it's staying though, as it says while stocks last.
I'm also putting together a fixed price hamper and didn't think I'd have enough money to get everything I want, but I got some really nice stuff and I have pounds left! I'll be racking my brains on what to spend it on. 😁
I was shocked though at the ingredients on the Christmas aisle products, so I've discounted things I would have bought for healthier things. I was amazed to find the mixed nuts didn't come with a load of additives, though, which I've seen in other supermarkets.

The macaroni cheese from the new Oakhurst stuff at Aldi is really nice. I haven't bought the M&S mac and cheese of dreams for ages as it just got too expensive, but this is almost as good. It's marketed as a side, but I had it as my "main".

Tried the runny yolk scotch eggs from Aldi (chiller), they were scrumptious. Going back for more!

Also picked up the winterberry bauble candle which smells fantastic.

The no. 22 sweet almond diffuser from Aldi was my all time favourite for years. I would have even rated it higher than some Max Benjamin ones I've bought. Anyway, I bought some recently and it's changed 😒 I can't smell it in the usual areas around my home at all. I'm gutted and annoyed in equal measures. Why can't they just leave things be?
I brought this cause matched the scheme in my bedroom n I think it smells like baby nappy bin 🤣

Had the Oakham galette today and it's a definite no. The puff pastry was hard and the filling was too salty and strong tasting - and I like salt. 😒

I bought the Oakham Triple Cooked chips for tonight to go with Steak, and the Madagascan custard to go with a sticky toffee pud!
