I wish LIDL would bring back the truffle oil they had about 7-10 years ago at xmas. It was so cheap and had a tiny chunk of truffle in it but whatever the fake truffle flavour was, it was amazing.

You know the cheese bake dips you put in the oven ?

What the hell has happened them ? They used to be in a lovely brown ceramic pot with a good bit of product.

But now it's in a scabby tiny plastic tub .. 100% has shrunk...

🤔 Anyone else notice it ?

Do I have to buy 2 at a go now just to fill my never ending hunger lately 😭😭😭😂😂😂

Is it the Aldi one? If so, I noticed and immediately refused. Absolutely not.

Ye Aldi...Cant get over the reduction in size , plastic container and it's a bit dearer than it was..
Yes, I thought the same thing. Hence I put it down and didn't buy it. You can't do that sort of tit and think no one will notice, especially in somewhere like Aldi.

mm they had the calender in aldi but I didnt fancy what was in there. I did however finally find the double crumble (black forest my fave) for a treat this week.

Finally tried the frickles. It’s an absolute no from me. I say this as a pickle lover, they smell and taste vile. 🤢

have a look a bit closer to Christmas, last year I picked up a truffle gift set which had truffle oil, truffle salt and something else (maybe mayo or a cooking sauce?) The person I got it for said it was all lovely.

Which also reminds me about 5 years ago my step mum bought me some truffle crisps from Aldi, pretty sure they were in a black bag and I’ve never seen them since

I'm not a fan of the new packaging Aldi has for their coffee sachets! It used to be more paper-y and easy to tear open, but the new ones are plastic and don't tear cleanly, if that makes sense

That's today's first world problem rant over 😅

The peanut butter bat cereal is possibly the best thing I have ever eaten. I can see the whole box getting eaten tonight!!
Thank god it's only for Halloween. I saw another Halloween cereal as well but can't remember the flavour. I'll have to pop back for it.

Taste Test menu on C4 tonight at 7. Anybody watch it? I did because I was kitchen tidying and Aldi won the first blind tasting and Lidl the next 4. Up against Sainsbury's, Nando and Asda doing pizza, cookies, sauce, chicken popcorn and halloumi. Was surprised Lidl did so well especially the chicken.

I bought one of those hairdryers a few years back on the clearance (pure chance of walking by the end of the middle aisle) last one an' all, think it was like €20. Best cheap aldi find to date. It's so lightweight and quick, and the cold setting actually dries my hair without the frizz. If youre on the look out, fck dyson grab an aldi bargain. God I sound like an instawanker, but seriously fab dupe.

I'm on the look out for the walking pad, is that a repeat item too?

Has anyone managed to get the candle advent calendar? It was the only one that was out of stock in my local Aldi this morning ☹

There were several left in my NW local, yesterday. I tried lifting one (literally lifting, not nicking🤨).
