That’s a really good spot, thank you. One of those fits neatly into a drawer of a dual air fryer. I’ve a Sainsbury’s order booked for the £1 saver slot first thing on Tuesday (the last day of this offer) so fingers crossed. I find their cheapy cava okay and it’s on 6 for 25% off, plus de cecco pasta’s on offer so I’m doing a Sainsbury’s stock up.
BIB - can you cook a whole chicken in an air fryer? 😱😱 Why did I not know this?!

How long does it take/ what's it like when cooked?

Anything you cook in an oven , you can cook in an air fryer. Depending on weight it would maybe take 50 mins ish

I've defected too I love the scan and shop and building up nectar for Christmas (also one child has decided that they are a crisp snob and will no longer accept faux brands 😒)

Whilst we're off topic I grabbed a bag of frozen salt and pepper chicken from Home Bargains and it was 10/10. Everyone is desperate for more!.
Proud mum of 2 crisp snobs 🤣

Mine has a rotisserie function but I've never used it. May go get a lil' chicken to try.

I like to put a whole chicken in the slow cooker, line the base with sliced potatoes, sprinkle of paprika and leave all day. You don't get the crisp skin but the meat is very succulent 👌.

My youngest who only eats ready salted will now only eat Walkers ready salted 🥴 I swear she sits in bed at night & thinks of things she can do to make my life more difficult 😂

My air fryer has a roast setting, so the booklet temp and timings might be a bit different to usual. The two problems I’ve had are having to truss it so the legs don’t pop up during cooking and get in the way of the drawer, and the tops of the drumsticks drying out a little. Both of these can probably be solved by cooking it breast down, but I’m an idiot who’s just realised that. I think most internet instructions say to turn it once during cooking, but it’s a tight fit and I’ve either burned myself or broken the chicken skin trying. It’s a useful thing to get the hang of though, good luck!

I’ve roasted a chicken a few times in the air fryer and do the turning thing. So upside down for the first half of cooking time then flip it to be breast side up.

Picked up my free bakery item this morning in Lidl (Victoria sponge muffin)
Also got some of the mini stollen bites which I absolutely love, and some of their pretzel chocolate 😋
Got a few packs of the salmon with lemon and pepper butter for the freezer, and those gorgeous mini potatoes dauphinois that they always have at this time of year.
I love this time of year in Lidl! They always have loads of goodies.

I have been shopping in Lidl in Spain this week and their Christmas chocolate is fantastic, wish they would sell it here. Turron and 3 types of chocolate topped with finely chopped dried fruit. Ate the first lot and went back for more to bring home.

I decided I needed a treat today and bought myself the beauty advent calendar from Aldi ☺ Very much looking forward to opening it in December (it's only 12 days so I think I will do alternate days from Dec 1st!)

Ooooh, are there nice bits in it?
Here's a pic of the side showing contents (please excuse the security tag, lot of shoplifting in our store clearly 😂 the item hidden by the tag is those little hair clips)

Most of the bits I've either bought before and liked, or thought of buying ☺

Edited to say I couldn't add the photo so had to screenshot it, sorry it's probably a bit small now 🤦‍♀️
