I got loads of bargains in Aldi today.
50% off whole chicken and breasts
75% off mince and meatballs
50% off kids yogurts with 2 weeks till expired
Boursin for 32p plus loads of other stuff and most of it has at least 2 days left to eat.

I am NOT going to Aldi this afternoon. :) I was in M & S this morning and there were dozens of yellow stickers in there but I did resist them. Have enough random stuff in my freezer which I am going to eat in January.

I have just opened my only bottle of Cremant De Loire - the £4.99 bottle of bubbles that you could only buy 2 of in Aldi and it is lovely. It's usual price is £9. My friend, who has a car, said he would go there on his shopping errands and get me 2 bottles and go round again and get a couple more so when I went in I just bought 1 as I was on the bus. When I got home he said he couldn't find it - bloody men - so we went back in the afternoon and it had all gone. :( Don't suppose it will be back at that price.
After I showed my friend the 2 fitness bags ( Tote and Rucksack) I bought she went in today and bought us both the largest one as we are going on an overnighter in a couple of weeks and they are ideal.

The fitness bag and rucksack are very nice, I was tempted but don't need them. For anyone who wants one but they find their local store has run out, Primark do a very fitness/weekend bag for similar price (I think it's a tenner but it might be £12, can't quite remember).

Aldi cherry bakewell Jaffa cakes
Stop it... need to find these now

I’ve just cracked open a box of biscuit mug hangers. Caramelised biscuits with a sugar coating, they are amazing. Why oh why didn’t I try these before now

These posts need photos soooo much. I fear I've missed some delights however I've also saved some money & potentially gained fewer calories so 🤷‍♀️

Tried Aldi's pakora chicken strips the other day (Roosters brand, in the freezer section with the sesame chicken strips) bloody beautiful. they come with a sachet of curry sauce, mix a spoonful of mango chutney in with it, 20 mins in the airfryer for golden brown crispiness and oh my god they're phenomenal. i had them for NYE picky bits but gonna get them again and serve with rice and vegetables. highly recommend!!!

That whole range is great. The burgers (just a breaded, boneless chicken thigh I think) that come in buttermilk and southern fried are amazing, the best chicken burger type things I've ever had!

Aldi have changed the ingredients for their own brand of haribo and they now contain gelatin. I actually preferened them over haribo but won't be buying them now as the idea of gelatin gives me the heave.

So having demolished the cherry bakewell Jaffa cakes, I foolishly thought I would get some more 🤣 no sign no gap, staff no clue. How does anybody do a weekly shop in here? You can’t plan meals, write a list as things are only there once, or on the website forever but never appear

I got some of these off the back of this post today....they are really good! I feel like I need to manufacture an excuse to go back to Aldi tomorrow in the hope that they still have some left....

Was this a Christmas line? Any photo?

Tonights dinner consisted of all red sticker goodies, speciality prosciutto pizza, garlic bread & smokey chilli & honey baked camembert...oh & Danish biscuits in a delightful tin.
