Has anyone tried they're cookware ! I seen a turquoise frying pan and casserole dish . Would anyone recommend them?

I’ve got a Lidl cast iron casserole dish. Bloody brilliant. It’s like a poor man’s Le Creuset! Have had it five years now and still going strong.

So I'm walking round Lidl and thought 'i feel so calm'. Then realised they had stopped blaring out that goddam awful music! Anyone else's Lidl stopped playing music? Maybe they had complaints

I've never been to Lidl that plays music

I'm not a fan of Rocky Road generally but Aldi have piqued my interest now.

Aldi Bramwell baked beans, 41p. Indistinguishable from heinz. I'm shocked, I was expecting watery too sweet/salt sauce, manky beans, but no, identical.

Went to buy the perfume this morning about an hour after they openend and they were all there, no gaps in anything. Bought 2 Dark Blossom, 2 Lady Pour Femme and another that was there - Guardian which still smells nice after 4 hours after I sprayed on my wrist.
Confession time - I always use self tills as I hate waiting behind slow packers and people who want to chat to the cashier.
The perfumes were really giving me grief after scanning as they are so light when they go on the other side of the scanned till - it kept saying something like re scan etc and I got so pissed off I asked the assistant to sort it out for me. He did and just scanned 5 together and it came up as I had paid for 3 not 5 on my till receipt - not my fault. Got lots of 30% off food I wanted to buy - best was 500gms of salmon priced at 7.69 - paid 5.38 and now Airfried and in fridge for this weeks meals for 1.

I have been in a Lidl that was playing music before, it was absolutely awful! With all the announcements and beeps it was just chaotic and a horrible shopping environment. I dislike music in shops on the whole tbh. My local Aldi is always really busy no matter when I go and often quite stressful because the aisles are always blocked with stock, so I’m really glad that they don’t play anything. Not sure if that’s just me being a grump

Had a peruse of their Christmas magazine just now and there’s sooo many yummy looking things on the way I said to Mr Pecan that we can’t go overboard as it’s just the two of us but in my mind that’s already gone out of the window and I want all of it!

Same, I used to work in a clothes shop and would always turn the music right down when I was in charge (and pretend I had no idea why it was so quiet when the manager questioned it)

The last 2 years we've bought the veggie sausage wreath and am so pleased it's back again this year. It is absolutely delicious with gorgeous seasoning. I would recommend to anyone with veggie guests or not!

I got a “cashmere” cover foundation ages ago from Aldi (but this year). I only opened it the other day and it has an odd smell. Not off but quite odd. Two people have told me my makeup looks great since opening it, so I’ll keep using it.

My vape shop had Xmas music last week.

I watched the Aldi documentary on Netflix. They said they don’t have music because they have to pay to play music. It was the first time I realised they don’t have any. Shows how observant I am.

I have noticed I quite often hear Hungry Like The Wolf in Asda. I wondered if it’s subliminal and “hungry” in the lyric makes people buy more food

I bought some lychees from Aldi the other day that had a date of the 25th on them. I just took them out of the fridge and all bar one lychee is covered in mould! They were going to be my healthy mid afternoon snack while wfh, so instead I've had to eat a kitkat...

I live in prime UK potato growing land, all the fields were under water earlier in the year when they should have been sprouting.

We’ve just had the most manic Tesco and Aldi trip ever I think. Absolute carnage. I actually saw someone get rammed with a trolley! Happy to report I managed to get the almond croissants. And the chocolate ones too because they were right there, rude not to.

Also got the Aldi SS camembert with caramelised onion sharing bread around it in a big foil tray. Has anyone had this and is it nice? Baked camembert is a Christmas Eve tradition for me and Mr. pecan.

I've found some Frickles! Only one box, though, and I've been looking FREQUENTLY. They were hidden amongst the tempura tofu and tempura vegetables, with no shelf label. I almost hope they're horrible as I'm doubtful I'll find any more!

Found the Aldi near to the new-ish offices and spent way too much on the dog. Mostly specialbuys but she will definitely appreciate the treats.

Got some of their popcorn based munch to try and salted caramel gonks. Purely so I can have the joy of biting their eye less heads off

Picked up 2 of the cherry marzipans earlier. One for a present and one to wink at me everytime I open the cupboard they are in between now and Christmas
