I found a label on the shelf for it today, but it was filled with Grenedian chocolate by the same make.
I picked up an almond and dark orange chocolate to try from the same make.

ETA. While I was waiting in the queue by the till I couldn't understand why the bloke in front kept turning round and staring at me, until I suddenly realised my bag handle was caressing his backside every time i moved.

As if nobody mentioned it was Italian week in Lidl. Quite frankly you are all off my Christmas card list as you were obviously trying to keep the coffee Ice cream and chocolate covered pistachios to yourself.

Wow, who gave Lidl the right?? The tiramisu muffin is a threat to my very soul and waist.

But it actually tastes of coffee and is delicious. It's amazing how hard that can be to balance. They've done it though. Bastards.

If this was already mentioned I apologise but Aldi have dropped their Christmas veg price to 8 pence, Asda too. Not sure about others. We are off to Aldi for 7am this morning. Send thoughts and prayers

If anyone is intending to go for the 8p veg I'd recommend taking a couple of quid and leaving your cards at home otherwise your 8p veg is going to cost a lot more than that in tat you thought you needed.

I was in Lidl this morning, had a look at the limited edition bits in the bakery but the only thing that looked new was a honeycomb slice. Obviously bought one for market research purposes. Also won £10 off my next shop when I scanned the app and have a free bakery item to pick up next time in store so overall a successful shop!

Music update if anyone's interested My Lidl has put the music back on with something that resembles a 'Lidl Heart fm' mix with 20 year old hits from Texas, Black eyes Peas and George Michael interwoven with Xmas songs

Well Lidl have totally alienated me this Christmas. I don’t regularly shop there but lots of things in their Xmas leaflet tempted me so I went out of my way to get try and get them. all bar one thing hasn’t been stocked or was sold out on the day it was supposed to be in store. I don’t know why I even bothered to try and get the Xmas chocolate train pudding yesterday. I ended up buying a festive pie and the label said £4.99 but I’ve just checked my receipt and it was £9.99. Naffed off

I'm in Ireland and just wanted to recommend some Aldi things that I've discovered lately and love!
Aldi version of Hula Hoops - I have become addicted, nicer than the real thing, I think.
Apple Pie Cookies - there was an American week a few weeks ago and these biscuits are still in stock at my local store, they are just the nicest biscuits, if you like apple and cinnamon and slightly crunchier than cookies.
Chianti Castellore was recommended on BBC Saturday Kitchen apparently - a very nice wine and great value.

I’m getting cross at Aldi. The protein mousses with the creamy topping have been oos for ages. The normal mousses are horrid (the chocolate is doable but the white chocolate is foul). We have 2 either side of our city. One is like the Wild West. Basically out of date shite. The other is fab but I feel that we are at least a month behind the rest of the country.

Having said that, I’m keeping them afloat via purchases of lentil crisps.

Not going to look at mince pies yet. If I have a mince pie now, there is a serious chance I won’t eat any other food other than mince pies until Christmas (at which point I change allegiance to hot cross buns).

I bought Aldi's Vitamin C and Turmeric serum, having had good experiences with another of their vitamin c serums, and now my face is oily and smells of oranges and curry . 0/10 do not recommend.

I also got a scented candle, called Opium Noir, which smells like YSL Black Opium perfume (clue's in the name I suppose, but I didn't clock it till I got home).

The frickles are good - would definitely buy again, but they're not so amazing that I'll be devastated not to find any more. They're very vinegary and the pickle itself was quite crunchy - McDonald's gherkins are my ultimate pickle, so I prefer them a bit softer and sweeter. The batter crisped up really nicely. You don't get many in a box, so if you spot them and think you'll like them, buy multiple!
