If I had seen the programme first and seen how much of the crab meat they had to take out I doubt I would bought them.

Does Lidl do a really nice dry, crisp white wine?

Okay, I have a confession to make. After seeing them mentioned here so often I bought a toffee yum yum yesterday and it was ..... fine.

Went to Lidl just now, mine doesn't have much of the frozen Spanish food in yet, but they do have the friend tomato + onion sauce which someone on here liked and also gazpacho (a fav of mine).

Ohhhh I LOVE that tomato stuff and buy as much as I can carry to use in pasta sauces, bolognese, pizzas, minestrone. Thank you @Tangent Tiger I shall head there tomorrow

We had a little Spanish night tonight curtesy of lidl:
The 3 cheeses were great as always.
The frozen patatas bravas were really nice too for only 1.29.
Tuna empanadas and jamon croquettes not that good (but advised deep fryer which I do not have so used the air fryer, so probably operator error).
I really wanted the prawns and frozen sangria mix but all gone.

Has anyone tried the Lidl self-tan mousse? I probably don't need another self-tan product in my life but I'm tempted!

Also got a wee brownie cos people say they are delicious but he looks very small so idk if it’s gonna blow my head off tbh
My biggest observation was that Lidl have stopped doing the one litre tubs of potato salad?! What the hell?! The ones with either creme fraiche or mayo
I once ate a whole tub in one sitting whilst playing grand theft auto and hallucinated.
Whoever reccomend the Aldi pretzel chocolate bar though on this thread OH BOY

Agree with this! Best I’ve used for coverage and how it fades and I have tried A LOT.
I feel a bit let down by Lidl this week. All these tantalising frozen Spanish treats they were promising have not materialised and Iberian week is nearly over.
On the plus side I knocked something over onto the floor, couldn't find any carpet cleaner so bought some some formil antibacterial laundry and that worked wonders on the stains this morning.
I wish I could comment on Aldi wares but it's too far a walk for me. Lidl less than 5 mins.

If it's anything like my local Lidl, it'll turn up in dribs and drabs over the next 3 weeks! They had the French toast in my Lidl today, but I didn't get it and now regretting my life choices.
There was only one jar of chickpeas left in my Lidl from Iberian week! I love those jarred chickpeas.
It's one of my favourites

Stock up for me please, still not seen any in our branch. I asked the girl who was stocking up if they had any and she just shrugged her shoulders and carried on with what she was doing.
I did watch Aldis next best thing before I went today and have great hopes for the Jamaican Beef Patty. I used to buy them quite often where we used to live and have not had one for years so looking forward to it. Will report back later. 99p each.
