I managed to get a Bakewell blondie this morning, they’d already taken quite a hit by the time I got there. Not sure if I have tattlers in my local area 😌 coffee brewing and looking forward to it!

Aldi raspberry and white chocolate hot cross buns have been a hit with us! Has anyone tried the banoffee ones?

Yes, tried the banoffee ones, but I wasn't impressed. I didn't think they tasted of banoffee at all. Just tasted sweet. Not awful, but wouldn't repurchase.

Ahhhh I didn't realise Aldi did 15p vegetables every week, Lidl doesn't. Also Aldi seems miles ahead in their beauty offerings.

But Aldi is 45 minutes walk away from me and Lidl is 5!

Oo I will look for those. I also have the Aldi raspberry, blonde choc geo egg to eat gift.

I know it's not for this thread but the M and S cheese hot cross buns are not good, incredibly disappointed.

I wonder if it's just for the few days before Easter. They have the same offer on at Christmas in most supermarkets so they might be doing the same at Easter. 🤔

Yes they were dry and had the awful cross that came off in 1 piece that was like cardboard (husbands words)

Aldi don't do 15p veg every week - they were supposed to do them this week but not in my branch - think somebody forgot to tell them. It was super 7 https://groceries.aldi.co.uk/en-GB/Super-6

TBF I think a lot of us greedy ones are on both threads - I go where there’s nice food! And bargains.
We are all like that don't you think ;) I do think that M & S are using their reputation to now move up the prices and I am shopping less there now except for their basics.

I actually liked the M and S cheese ones!
I think they would have been better with a bit of chutney, they were dare I say it...too cheesy.

Just been to Aldi to replace the egg. They had 15p veg in and have put in self service tills 😮.

Popped in Lidl yesterday, quite a few 15p veg, potatoes and carrots already mentioned, but I also got the deluxe shallots and spring onions. I’m sure there were more but insomnia and a frazzled brain are not helping!

I mostly want carrots as my horse eats them and 15p is a bargain. I got some for 50p from morrisons and they where manky the next day (sorry if I've mentioned it here already but I think it was the M&S thread) granted it was only the ends of the smaller carrots but tesco and aldi ones have been much better quality.

I get my horse carrots from aldi every week. They are thrown on the feed bin and don't go mushy

I keep mine in a bucket in my feed room and only ever go mushy in the summer. And never after a day or two. I wish I had gone aldi now but it was near closing and the aldi was a small one so didn’t bother going in. I went to the bigger Morrisons next to it instead.
