Ah I’m looking forward to try these!! The l'occitane ones are my absolute favourites but if I can save some pennies I’ll absolutely try these instead!

I now have 4 free bakery items on the app but can only activate one at a time and I just don't know if I can put that kind of effort in.

I hate avocados too @TravellingPants

My godson is allergic to them - I always thought that was the most middle class allergy ever. If I was allergic to them I wouldn’t have found out til my 40s!

Be aware that the Aldi specially selected Swiss mini eggs are 3 times the price of the M&S Easter Swiss mini eggs
£3.49 for 128g in Aldi £5.50 for 400g in M&S

I went to a German Lidl this week and omg. I now feel like we're being robbed 😅 So many cool snacks and it was still really cheap too, compared to the UK.

I’ve popped in to Lidl twice this week for under £10 shops and have won a pineapple and punnet of grapes on my spin to win, I also had my free bakery item for the month. I’ve just been in to collect them and did a small food shop (£19) and have won a net of oranges. My personal offers are also nearly all things I buy regularly. Other shops (I’m looking at you M&S) could learn a lot from Lidl Plus.

Are these Aldi or Lidl? Love me some tongue tingling salt & vinegar crisps
Aldi - my bag was an anomaly though. It was perfect for me. The extra strong flavour was fantastic. There was about a teaspoon of flavour dust at the bottom of the bag. I dipped my finger in and ate the lot like a sherbert dab 🤣

I had to dash away from this one so I didn't die laughing.
A child walked past in Aldi holding her dad's hand, and he was confiding in her that he needed her help to choose some chocolate that mum likes, as he had eaten it all. He'd forgotten what was there and mum was due back.
Said child screeched to a halt, dropped his hand like it was dog muck, and started reading him the riot act about stealing.
Knowing how vigilant that store is about stealing at the moment, with their pink notices (see previous post). I was expecting the thunder of feet approaching.
Felt a bit sorry for the dad, but my urge to snort laugh was too pressing to hang around. 😂🤣😂

I just got 20pc off a bagged salad.

Yeah Mr Lidl, it's minus god knows what, it's Friday and I can't wait for a drink tonight - a few pence off a mingey bag of Lidl salad is going to get me SPRINTING into store...

Our last holiday was a River Cruise in Germany and I had google maps of where all the Lidl and Aldis were on our route and visited lots of them and you are so right, spent more time in them than looking at tourist sites. :) Came back with loads of foods we don't find here alongs with plenty of great wines.

I popped into my local Aldi last night & there was a guy outside smoking a spliff before he went in. I commented to Mr A how bad is your life, that you have to be stoned to shop in Aldi on a Friday night!

Got these in Lidl, wife is Gluten Free so always on the lookout for stuff to try.
Strangely addictive little cornstarch cookies from Brazil, these are coconut flavour, they also had vanilla/milk ones which were tasty too, very nice with a coffee.

I see lots of tiktoks about M&S being cheaper/equivalent price to Aldi. Surely I'm not the only one thinking this is nonsense!

I picked up the chocolate bar with pretzels after being influenced on here. 🤭😋
Couldn't stop laughing when I realized it was the bar my diabetic relative used to get. His specialist said he was allowed one piece of chocolate and when you see the size one piece is on this chocolate bar 😂
