I really really hate the new eBay advert!!! It’s literally on constantly.
The one that’s like “the love comes back to you” or something it’s honestly like nails on a chalkboard for me

Omg I also absolutely hate the dominoes advert when they’re calling to eachother making weird noises? Like what is the point of that

“Buy a thing, sell a thing” and yes it’s on nearly every as break

I keep seeing an ad for Andrex on social media. The camera focuses on different people's bums as they walk away from the camera (they even feature the Andrex puppy's bum in one of the ads). The people are clothed, obviously, but it's still gross

it's as if they think they need to educate people on what loo roll is for

PLENTY paper roll ad. Please don't watch it if you see it coming. It is horrendous, all about the things you can use the paper to clean up and I was having breakfast when it came on and there was a dog involved then a kids mouth and other things. Won't describe it because it is truly awful If I can find out how I am going to report it to Ofcom.

I saw a new one for Viagra earlier, it was a deep, cartooned couple with sad music in the background, me and my mum were like wtf

yes totally weird! and a massive peeve of mine where advertisers take a classic or decent song and get someone else to sing it and turn it into a wishy washy durge! in this case the proclaimers and there another one where they've turned born to be wild into almost a nursery ryhme !

Lloyds Bank. Visually it’s lovely but the song/ singer cover version of an already woeful song We’ve only Just Begun sends me every time to the mute button. With the black horse running I feel we need the Black Beauty music... those over 50 will know

I HATE all of the adverts with the female singers taking a good song and making it sound like they’re singing it with their lay dying breaths. 90s club classic but make it sound like a breathless, ‘she needs to clear her throat’ funeral song? Banks are all over it, that’s if John Lewis hasn’t baggsied it for Christmas. Honestly, why do banks need to have depressing AF songs, do ‘life events’ need to be that depressing?!

In the north west we have a radio ad about covid, one of them where they’ve got “members of the public” to say what we need to do to control Covid. There’s a female bus driver with a proper manc accent and it makes me gip every time I hear it!

I remember screaming and turning the TV OFF in a fit of rage whenever they came on…. My boyfriend thought I was mental he was probably getting ready to turn me in! Lockdown was bad enough without those annoying dicks on those adverts lol

Yes, at first I felt sorry for him, thinking “oh well, he’s not a professional he tried” but it’s an actor called Muzz Khan.

I genuinely cannot believe this advert made it past any vetting stage. Actually, having worked in advertising- I take that back- I can fully believe it made it, I just don't want to believe it

The worst thing for me is that Muzz is an actor (and genuinely seems over the moon to have landed the part) but it's his actual family in the advert. I seriously hope those kids don't get it ripped into them at school. Genuinely. I don't think Ian McKellen could have made the adverts script and filming style any better so I don't hold it against Muzz.

If they wanted to bring the pocket tap back, they could have gone down the road of playing on modern social media and insta likes and called it 'the original double tap'. Or just shown the old adverts for nostalgia sake. Or, basically, just anything, anything else. Anything.

When companies use their adverts to say how much they care about their customers. Especially banks and insurance companies.
