I read somewhere that they are under the govt guardianship but he has filled for custody
It made me SO angry when Kevin wouldn’t even look at the pictures, even still to this day I don’t think he has.

That’s what I’d read. The kids need a clean slate away from a man who still has issues himself, it can be healthy for them
I've completely fallen down the rabbit hole with this story.
Listening to Shari's audiobook after watching the two documentaries, and I've got to say her bravery is incredible.
I hope those kids are getting the care they need, they have years and years of unlearning such toxic mentality driven by their parents from the concerning to the ultimate extreme.
Absolutely heinous.
I hope Jodi and Ruby are not released before all those children are over 18 as a bare minimum.
They are unbelievably dangerous.
Kevin should be under strict supervision as well if he does indeed have custody of any of the children, the documentary showed he clearly has a lot of work still to do to untangle himself from that negative web of thought. How he can say he still loves her is beyond me.
The difficulty comes with trying to do that where they live because so much of the culture is wrapped up in the LDS mentality and there are shades of this woven throughout even the most balanced residents.

That's what I thought too. He was not even bothered about seeing his kids all he wanted was to get his wife back. He is just as bad as her he didn't even try and fight for his own children. They'd be better off being adopted by a loving family.
Kevin should never get custody of the children. He will be back with Ruby. How can you love someone who treated your flesh and blood the way she did.
Kevin covered for Ruby more than once in police interviews etc. He says how much he loved her and put her first before his kids etc..... not once did he mention feeling bad for the kids, feeling angry at the women who abused them etc he's 100% just as bad as they are

It feels like he has to say it but it's not what he's really thinking.
Just finished it, how Kevin is not in a prison cell is baffling to me! Those poor children, I hope they are being cared for and loved now.
I've watched the Disney+ documentary, what is the other one?
There's one on Channel 5 as well, nowhere near as in depth as the Disney+

Ruby definitely abuse him to, but Kevin is guilty to. He was there and didn't step and try to stop it, he could of prevent sone if this by leaving and taking the kids away from her, I think he should of been charged too, does he have custody now of the younger kids? Or no

Reading the early comments on this thread is really eye opening to the fact we really have no idea what goes on behind the scenes in family bloggers at all.
It really shows that you never know what really happend at home
I just finished watching the documentary and wow. how is that father not held accountable?!??? child neglect?? child abandonment? I don't care if he was brainwashed, he is still accountable!!!! Shari is such a brave girl!!!!! even the son... ugh. he is making a career online?! I know he is a victim too but ew. poor child probably the only life he can even imagine is vlogging.those disgusting vile women both of them. i need pics of kittens and baby elephants now.
Since she threw Kevin, Shari and Chad out of the house they were safe. The oldest two had channels. Not just the parents. None of them around for the duct tape. That is why Kevin not prison. Kevin should be financially responsible for the stolen money. Kevin has a lot of nerve complaining about YouTube and CPS when he lawyered up and made bank off it. The problem was him and his wife got involved high up with a cult they made money from with the connections bit. Moms of Truth she was filming with Jodi. Kevin is trying to tell us all how to live and feel self important again. They are all trying to make money off the abuse of the kids. Before it was off the smiles of the kids.
Of course they are now suddenly against channels. Because they have a channel everyone knows what they did. But the bad almost killed two of the stuff was not filmed. They are distracting form connections and hearing voices and having visions of the added scripture Jodi was reciting and Ruby was writing.
Image a big deal in that world. Mormon, Utah. That is why they can’t stay off screens. How about a little humility they are still trying to teach us, just the opposite of what they were teaching before.
