Only to conspiracy to commit unlawful immigration and money laundering. He’s not yet pleaded to the manslaughter charges although given his other guilty pleas, I can’t see how he could plead anything but guilty
This seems like so long ago . Did they ever find out what happened?
The investigation was still ongoing in march and april , I think all the covid news meant it wasn't as well publicised.

Although Mo Robinson and a couple of others pleaded guilty, the trial for others involved is still ongoing. Until a verdict is reached, the others will remain in prison where a fair sentence can be passed (I may be slightly incorrect as it’s been a while since I’ve dealt with the courts).

I was one of them sadly! Well, I wasn't exactly "free Mo" and changing my profile pic etc but I knew Mo briefly years ago through mutual friends and he was a nice, quiet guy. I just didn't think he had it in him. I was genuinely so shocked when truth came out. First to admit and hold my hands up he had me fooled. Quiet ones you need to watch! Hope he gets what he deserves and a long, lengthy sentence the scumbag.I’d like to know what all the “Free Mo” protesters had to say now?

I genuinely believe Mo didn’t understand the risk or possibility of people dying. Which was very naive of him. Greed got the better of him too.
He definitely deserves all he got & the whole people smuggling racket is a disgrace, these men are taking advantage of extremely desperate people.

Yes I believe that too. He was a very quiet guy when i knew him. A genuinely nice enough guy who lived a quiet life, always into his lorries etc and very country living. I do think he was easily manipulated into it but also like you say greed got the better of him too. Seeing all that easy money come in & such a young age. I'm originally from Portadown, he lived just outside it Laurelvale/Tandragee direction I believe in quite a large house. Not sure whats happened with the house but the salon is still operating though no idea if its by her or someone else now. I read a while ago that he has seen the twins as the girlfriend took them over to see him a few times but that could be just rumours.
It must be horrendous for his family? Given he’s from a good background.

how many years did he get sentenced for? i feel like I was reading about everything that happened and then all of a sudden it wasn’t getting reported anymore?
